Yeah, it’s true the killer is quite predictable in the first case, and even in the 2nd one, at least halfway in. But it was interesting to see how the FL performed the autopsy and how she analysed and pieced together all the details.
EP. 6–11: The second case was interesting too, I didn’t expect almost the entire Qin family to be involved in so many crimes. I didn’t like that the Qin Young Master wanted to save his grandmother first, luckily she asked him to save his pregnant wife instead. The resuscitation method used to save the drowning victim was really interesting, the FL is very skilled. In episode 11, Cui Shao Yang also makes an appearance, another actor from Moonlight Mystique! I’m curious to see if more of them will show up too 😅😅😅😅 I’m really looking forward to the next cases!
I just finished the first 5 episodes, and I didn’t expect to see such a smart and skilled female lead , she’s knowledgeable in medicine, autopsies, and even surgery. I don’t think I’ve seen a chinese drama before with such explicit scenes in those areas. The reactions of the people attending the autopsy scenes actually make me laugh. The first case with the decapitated bride was a bit predictable in terms of who the killer was, but it was still interesting to see all the detailed steps they went through to prove it. As for the chemistry between the ML and FL, I wouldn’t say it’s really there (yet), but both are very talented actors. I’m looking forward to watching the rest of the episodes, let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint!

I’m glad to hear that this drama is more engaging than MOGA. I was afraid it might be the same. So far, I’ve only seen the first episode, but I was impressed, I actually liked it a lot. I hope it stays just as good 💪💪💪
I came to watch this drama after crying my eyes out over the final episodes of Heroes (2022). I went from one shock to another , first Princess Yue Ning with martial arts skills, then the grandmother with martial arts skills too… totally unexpected 😅😅😅😅😅 The FL and ML are both stunning , they look like anime characters. I’m wondering why she’s so suspicious of him, and vice versa. Another shock: the first episode ends with a decapitated bride 😬😬
I finished watching this drama today, and I can say it’s one of the most brutal wuxia dramas I’ve seen so far. It could have been truly amazing if they hadn’t decided to ruin the last 8 episodes. I honestly kept hoping until the very end that it was all part of some plan they had come up with, but it wasn’t. Sad. Really sad.
