The ending was quite good, the last 6 episodes were as well very good. Please do not bring ADWAD here as that was terrible due to FL character development, I was able to see 0 progress there and dropped it after 13 episodes.

I actually enjoyed the last 6 episodes and now everyone interprets the ending however they want, whether as an open ending or a happy one. I prefer to believe that he actually woke up and was truly by the FL’s side, rather than thinking it was just in her imagination 😊😊😊
I just finished watching the last 6 episodes, and overall, I’m satisfied with how it ended, even though I kind of wish we could’ve seen everyone together one more time. I’m glad that Meng Zhenzhen got a second chance, along with the other women and children in her family. I’m disappointed that the 3rd Prince still didn’t wake up to reality, even after Empress Lv abandoned him and closed the city gates. I expected more from him. I was really impressed by the relationship between Tao Hua, Chang Jue, and their mentor, Qian Mo Chen. I didn’t expect Qian Mo Chen to do so much for them. The ending of this series really reminded me of what the male lead did for Mei Lin in KMLM.
