Yes! That's what I've been noticing lately. I'm not really enjoying most if the dramas I've been anticipating for so long. Instead I'm loving those a lot that I watched without any expectations. Guess I'll be keeping my expectations low for the upcoming ones...

I'm on ep. 29 and this is becoming one of my favs!! Wasn't even one of my most anticipated dramas but now that I'm binging, I'm liking it sm more than the ones I've been waiting for. Really love how Gu Lan's character development is so realistic and this show is serving both romance and political intrigue, love love lovee
Just watched ep. 3 and I'm loving this way more than some of my most anticipated cheap production idol dramas 😭😭 just found another comfort watch. I rlly hope Qi Xiaowei doesn't stay the coward he is and I'm loving Xiaofang's personality and her mindset!! I've loved every role I've watched of Wang Yinglu so far, she's slowly becoming one of my fav actresses! ^^ One thing I don't like tho is the ML's father and how the lead's relationship has become more reason for the 2 families' feud. Yep, I agree. Was just making a neutral comment as a shoutout to all viewers but I share your opinion, I've already seen that not only the intro is completely AI generated but the whole lighting and colorgrading issue is very AI feely and I am absolutely disliking it... i'm so sad for all the artists who are experts at animating intros that could've been hired instead. So far, I'm just trying to enjoy the main leads and Xu Zhenxuan 😔 not sure if I'll end up dropping cuz the dialogue and the cinematography is giving messy VDs lmao

A drama isn't defined just by that (ofc story/acting etc are important too) but ppl are still free to mention it if it's something that affects their opinion 🙃

Yesss i'm glad you agree, e.g. my fav animated intros were from LBFAD or TTEOM, and they were so beautiful. And now this whole generative AI sh*t is ruining creativity, so many artist probably being laid off too just for this reason, I'm so sad 😭 (edit: i just noticed lmfao great minds think alike)
the AI opening is so badly done, it's very upsetting that I keep seeing this in many dramas recently. tbh, I always skip intros, so I seldom notice but this one was just plain obvious.... like I wasn't sure but Blossoms of Power OP also looks a tad bit AI generated too and don't come at me but imo, AI has no place in the creative/entertainment industry (especially for this purpose) bcs aren't dramas and films supposed to be another form of art??
