how is this so far? my problem with mini dramas is that either the plot is incomprehensible or there's too much messy drama... but this one looks pretty. should I give it a try?

Yeah, I also liked the start better than the second half, most of it is them in school and new problems arising. Although that didn't make me drop it, I'm watching the rest in 1.5x speed lol. There was so much more plot progression in the first half and I too really liked how the characters developed but now everything feels kinda repetitive

gotta say I havent read icgytm yet but I SEE THE VISION <333 especially zhou wan and lu xixiao as characters literally give that feeling as if they were written by her 💘
