People r getting so tasteless these days. If some bl doesn't get longer kisses and some nsfws, they consider it…
I couldn't agree more. People also equate NSFW/long kiss scenes = good chemistry, which is definitely not always the case. This show is not very sexual at all but Gongchan and Seowon still have amazing chemistry.
International fans might be sleeping on this show but at least it's doing well in Korea (and Japan)! It's ranked 5th in Korea on a list of the most popular OTT kdramas the first week of April (and Cha Seowon is ranked 5th on the actor list): https://twitter.com/Chelly_BPMP/status/1646482194771083265 The show is also ranked 1st on RakutenTV in Japan on the weekly ranking (and 2nd on the monthly)
This is one of the best BL dramas from Korea, and it's way too underrated (but it's also a shame they haven't made the show available worldwide on iQiyi, I have to use VPN to watch it). It's got good acting, chemistry, bigger budget, romance, visuals, longer runtime, great OST, well done angst/conflict, etc. I highly recommend it, especially for people who love romantic kdramas.
The movie has a happy ending overall. For a lot of us who saw it in the theater though it didn't really flow at…
I really hope they give a good explanation as to why Jaewon is making out with someone other than Jihyun and that there isn't any cheating involved... Anyway, thank you for your movie explanation!
I'm confused. After the cafeteria scene, they still weren't speaking. How did Jaewon know to follow Jihyun to…
I think Jaewon maybe went looking for Jihyun at the bar but found him close to the subway station instead. Or maybe they agreed over texts (that we, the audience, didn't see) to meet somewhere. Because when Jihyun was going to meet his new acquaintance, I think he was planning on seeking out Jaewon, I don't think he was planning on meeting Aeri.
Just sharing some info....There is nothing official to find about episode count. On Daum, this is a movie. Run…
I'm also confused about those 118 minutes but wouldn't it also be quite weird for the episodes to be such different length? The first two eps being 40 minutes each and the last two being only 19 minutes each?
I highly recommend people read the novel this show is based on (Mo Du) but for the people who aren't going to or haven't yet: Someone made a twitter thread of the scenes from the show that are taken straight out of the novel (in case you're curious): https://twitter.com/CANClPlN/status/1627752286993944577
Mo Du is one of the few novels that I've rated 5 stars, which means I love the story, the characters and their relationship. I didn't have high hopes when I heard about this show, but now that I've watched the first 8 eps I can say that they have exceeded my expectations, and they're doing one of my favorite novels justice! I think the actors fit the characters perfectly and they have good chemistry. Many of the scenes/dialogues are taken directly from the books, which is impressive, and they honestly haven't censored much of Pei Su and Weizhao's relationship so far. I hope it continues being this good until the end!
I did my own little research I don't get it where those c-drama news accounts got the news that this series got…
Yeah I also thought the cancelled rumor was weird and dramatic, it’s like it started just because no new episodes came out for one week. And as someone said on twitter, as long as the show is still up on Youku, it’s not cancelled. Lets wait for April!
