If you're an anti-Chinese racist:Modern White men in long capes flying around defying gravity....AWESOME, DUDE!!!!Ancient…
Of course not. But mocking other culture(s) does.

You can un-like something without expressing disgust and contempt, especially when that something is someone else's culture and heritage on which they base their life values.

Feel free to decline this or that (cultural) experience. But do so respectfully. Or, do you not understand the meaning of
respect?

Again, if watching ancient Chinese men flying is so incredibly "ridiculous" and
"unbearable" for you, stop!!

But then, you wouldn't get your opportunity to insult, offend & troll by playing dumb. Or, maybe you're not playing...

men with long hair is normal in ancient china and chinese people like "women with squeaky voices"
If you still don't like this genre, why do you keep watching it?

When you accidentally bang your head on something, do you then intentionally keep banging it over and over again?? And, for no apparent reason, randomly tell people you don't even know about it? Over and over...again and again...

Almost all racists don't think they're racist.

You say you don't want to insult Chinese culture and then, immediately proceed to do so again in the very same post. You may be right...maybe you just don't get it and, judging by your response, likely never will.

HELLO?!?! This is is historical FANTASY FICTION!! Ancient Chinese people didn't actually fly in the same way that an alien planet called Krypton hadn't actually existed (before it didn't actually blow up). It follows that a flying alien "Superman" that landed in the American
Midwest of all places and just coincidentally happens to look exactly like a prototypical White Midwestern male doesn't exist either. And so on and so on..

Anyone who isn't a blatant bigot could see that the former scenario is much less "ridiculous" or "unbearable" than the latter...and I say this as someone who read a lot of DC Comics when I was a kid!

OMG HOW AM I GONNA WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODESS
In the meantime, try watching other Zhou Ye dramas. Or, maybe some other C-dramas featuring (female) generals.

I'm guessing s/he's desperately seeking attention, so s/he's definitely getting it.

Can anyone recommend more general dramas? I want to binge-watch one. I've already watched "The Long Ballad,"…

Unfortunately, not everyone can "get" everything.

Western cultural imperialism is the gift that keeps giving!

Oh, by the way...funny coincidence! My three-year-old niece said "eeew" (and made that same vomiting emoji face) just the other day because she saw something new & different that her still developing toddler brain didn't apprehend. So my sister (her mother) immediately let her know that what she did "wasn't nice!" My niece then quickly switched to a sad, pouting facial expression and uttered: "sowwee mommee!"

If a three-year-old toddler mind can develop a conscience, empathy and remorse, there may be hope for the colonizing mind yet...

Title The Glory
I could say her acting has improved tremendously and this role wow it's just brings out her full potential.🔥…
CDL's role in TTEOTM was relatively well-written. The fact that a lot of the audience hated her (character) so much shows her great talent and potential.

The traditional medicine propaganda rubs me the wrong way. Treating cancer with acupuncture and cupping?Afaik…
Peer-reviewed scientific studies have demonstrated that, aside from pain relief, acupuncture may be effective for treating the following side effects from chemotherapy and other more conventional cancer treatments: nausea and vomiting, leukopenia, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, dry mouth, hot flashes, and neuropathy, among others.

As far as what you know, apparently, isn't nearly as much as you think it is.

If you meant non-Bollywood South Asia, you should've said so.

Only 1/15th or not, Bollywood is the predominant entertainment industry in India and South Asia.

Per the constitution of India, Hindi is one of two official languages (with the other being English).

Irrelevant. Culturally speaking, Hong Kong (not to mention, Taiwan) is, has been and will be Chinese.

1997.

Through the 1990s and into the turn of the 21st century, Hong Kong was #1 in Asian tv dramas.

After that, it was Taiwan...and then, South Korea.
