Historically, large age gaps in relationships were more accepted. , we probably won’t see any physical affection…
Not probably, definitely. The Chinese entertainment industry strictly forbids filming romantic scenes involving minors with adults. No kissing. Nothing.
Becaus e even the opening theme song sounds a lot like DOTS ost song “Always”
An earnest comment would simply be something along the lines of "I don't like TWOT." Or, "I like DOTS more than TWOT." A trollish comment is: "Comparing this boring cdrama to DOTS would be an [sic] complete insult to DOTS."
Neither TWOT nor DOTS is anything special. But TWOT isn't supposed to be; DOTS is supposed to be a kdrama classic.
If you think AI-generated art is unethical theft by definition, why single out Chinese entertainment companies? Which C-drama stole whose art using what AI model?
State your allegations specifically. Or else, I'll assume you're making stuff up again.
No, I don't think just because something's illegal, it must be unethical. For example, I have absolutely no problem with a starving person stealing food to survive.
But are you starving? If so, how do you have the energy to watch dramas? Can watching dramas replace eating food for a starving person? Do you need to steal pirated content to survive?
(2) Show me how you quantify it.
(3) Provide source for your unsubstantiated claim, preferably from an international peer-reviewed journal.
Anecdotal evidence is insufficient.
I've seen plenty of Chinese documentaries that deal with social "taboos."
Keep in mind that DW was younger and less experienced back when those dramas were filmed. But you get to see his evolution as an actor.
Not sure if you've seen The Starry Love with Chen XingXu, but this is one of my favorite
xianxia (with one of my favorite actors)!
That's why some C-drama fans I know are studying (Mandarin) Chinese.
Well, not everyone can understand everything.
Neither TWOT nor DOTS is anything special. But TWOT isn't supposed to be; DOTS is supposed to be a kdrama classic.
It's unreasonable to expect Chinese actors to be multi-lingual.
Not to mention, in historical (fiction) & costume dramas, regional accents would be highly inappropriate.
Unlike Japanese or Korean, the Chinese languages, cultures, ethnicities, etc. are very heterogeneous.
State your allegations specifically. Or else, I'll assume you're making stuff up again.
I believe lying (in addition to stealing) is immoral, with some exception ofc. If this means my moral compass is beyond saving, so be it.
