watched 1 ep so far, so not sure if it gets better but... can't help but think that they keep giving ZWY the same roles over and over again 😅 I do like him, but if they insist on giving him the same styling & character types, I think they should have spaced out his dramas more. at least then it probably wouldn't be blurring together so much.
Did FL use her own voice or dubbed? Why it's sound so awkward like she's reading script
it is her own voice but it's a dubbed version of her voice, so she most likely is just reading straight from the script lol. cdramas almost always dub the audio bc the sets they film in are too loud.
does anyone get the feeling that the dialogues are way too mechanical ? ... :D
I kind of agree, I think most of the conversation between FL & moon sect leader was unnecessary.. as if they're purposely trying to take up more time in the episode. though maybe it will be relevant later on.
kind of wish iQiyi would stop leaning into this type of "villain" styling for all of their costume dramas 😅 especially in this one... the main styling looks great, but the villains look like they're from an entirely different drama. a little jarring for me.
in ep 12 when the scene suddenly just cuts to ML falling over in FL's courtyard.... 😭😭🤣 obviously not meant to be funny but it was so SILLY, had me laughing so hard.
I was initially on the fence about the ending, but after thinking it through, I think the BE is the one that makes the most sense for his character. with his death, WZ is singlehandedly taking responsibility for the emperor's death, thus taking the blame off Yueluo.
if things had happened differently, as in he lived and only the emperor died, there would obviously be too many complications. someone would have to take the blame for the emperor's death, and there were so many witnesses.. so even if the crown prince & PY chose to protect WZ and steer the blame in a different direction, there would always be controversy.
WZ's entire life was torn apart by schemes and people shifting the blame onto others, so his death is also signaling the end of that cycle. he chose to die on his own terms, without implicating others.
Started great, but few episodes before the end, they just let us down. And no, ending wasn't the problem. We already…
I think the writing took a huge dip in the later half of the drama.. those last several episodes were a mess 😅 the "kissing scene" was the least of my concerns honestly.
Guys, what are we all watching after this?? I saw Fangs of Fortune is coming out soon so looking forward to that
fangs of fortune, snowy night timeless love, rise of ning, & story of pearl girl are the ones i've heard are coming soon. all seem to have great potential
Jeremy Tsui is very handsome in his latest photoshoot as Pei Yan 😍https://mydramalist.com/photos/b3mDNE_3Why…
professional photos are meant to capture the best of people, whereas in the drama we're seeing him with different lighting, angles, facial expressions, etc 😔
The only logical way I can explain that is that Pei family military armory case they had with the swords. Their…
right, but I honestly think this was just one of those "don't think too hard about it" moments. there must've been a significant weight difference & feel to the sword if it was such an inferior weapon... something that an assassin should've picked up on
