Sort of a side note concerning something I've not seen mentioned about Season 1. The ending of season 1 was filmed first. That is, they filmed all the concert scenes at the very beginning. It shows. Bright and Win don't appear that relaxed as a couple at the end. Everyone noticed. A common shooting strategy is non-linear. That is, you group scenes by location so you get the lowest cost use of that location. That makes the story line jump all over the place. One of the tough acting transitions is from where the couple is at the beginning to where they are at the end when it all happens over the course of a couple days. That transition clearly didn't happen and I think the production team realized that. I suspect that's why they put together this special, which others have mentioned, but not talked about the production issue.
I think the actors are doing a good job given the framework for this story. That said, if it gets any sweeter I'm going to get a case of diabetes. And I wish I could get a pair of the plushies.
I don't wanna be rude but every time Win cries on screen I just wanna laugh, like people really think this is…
I'll just say you have have a right to your opinion and I beg to differ. I thought his crying was actually spot on when he was sitting next to the pool.
I don't follow those incidences a lot. Might you share more what happens? Those Chinese netizens used to do the…
I would say Bright's saving grace, as it were, is that he's been in the business for quite a few years and must have some awareness of the toxicity outside Thailand. Also, he's apparently both even keeled and sweet by nature. I don't think they can ruffle his feathers that easily.
Did you read any of the comments? LOL The level of pettiness Chinese netizens are at will never be surpassed...ever.…
I was amazed when I found out how toxic the Chinese fan culture is. I think it's an outlet for not being able to take out their hates on the government, which would get them locked up. The gov't tolerates it because they don't want a student/fan uprising. The gov't sees it as a valve on the pressure cooker of their lives.
It was a nice series up until episode 14 when the story started to get ridiculous wih the intertwined family members.…
Fluke was excellent. He fully embodied a person who knows nothing of intimacy and finds it frightening for reasons he doesn't understand. Watch the scene where the car backfires again.
Apparently no one has watched him in Meteor Garden. I recommend it. His acting is generally very understated. Even in the more dramatic moments in Sleuth he keeps the character grounded. His smart/naive trade off is very well done.
In the novel, Park did horrendous things. They just didn't show it in the series.
Over the last year and a half, particularly in relation to LBC I've learned that the Thai BL industry can be incredibly nasty. Unforgivably so at times. They treat actors worse than horses at a race track. A lot of these kids are university students so they're intelligent, but maybe a bit naïve.
