Me too. And I dont know which part of the ending that is faithful. Everything was just in vain. Like my precious time. Still, I love seeing the casts and the acting.

Objectively, I prefer Reply 1988 to this. But I give this drama a bit higher rating because of its authenticity. This drama also made the path to the writer and director to stardom. And even the next season and its casts.

I have lowkey bitter thought, while all of this drama's predecessors airs happily ever after on Netflix, then somehow Mr.Queen "just" ready only on Viki/Viu which take time to watch. And then again, its replacement will air on Netflix again. Why skip only for this???? Where is Justice!! -___-

Thats the point.. Moreover, she is the very first person to be cast in the drama. None would doing magnificent work as the queen like her. I can't imagine the queen is played by another actress. SHS just slayyyy

Queen Cheorin and King Cheoljong will end up together in the past for sure. I trust enough with the history itself. But with who (soul's?) Bonghwan is present person. He is "real". He is the main character eventho played by another actor. I would love to see him comeback in his time, doing his business and finally embracing himself as new person. He can meet the reincarnation of CJ as a man or a woman I don't really care.. this story is about his journey and his love story a long with the fact that if Bonghwan is still in the past, the one who is confirmed to be dead is Kim Soyong. It really breaks my heart to think that she was just merely a memory.
