I dont think so. Considering the rating in MDL here for both shows, season 1 is better. And I prefer season 1 too moreover the casts are different. But season 2 is trending now on Netflix bc ppl are being crazy over Kim Seon Ho the main lead.

Actually, the four main leads are exactly like that. That was the articles show everywhere. I didn't even know that Hwajin and Byung In was being part of the show before. Note that its coming from me who literally waiting for this drama for months and lurking everywhere to find anything related to the drama. And then I found the recent list of cast in Asianwiki's page and was like oh! Seorina, really? A bit surprise because she has protagonist role before this drama.

It started with 8.3 actually. The rating is going up and higher and higher amazingly. And we still have 6 episodes left. Let's hope for the best.

I was so pissed off about that discrimination. Why this amazing drama wasnt picked by netflix like its predecessors like wtf? you have to wait almost a day to watch it in Viki/Viu.

Well, I kinda have different opinion. But, I'm still confused about her character since she woke up from vegetative state. I don't know which who is who that have sparkling moments with the king. It's like the producer decided to merge the chef's soul and queen's memory to avoid the BL thing. But still, it's easier for me to accept that original concept and/or that the real queen being swapped in modern chef. But, right now I have difficulty to enjoy and to follow the storyline because I think too much! Lmao. And Im sad about the real queen who fall into deep lake T.T.

The other scenes with original mysic and then became changed was when Kim Hwan and Hongyeon's first encounter happen and Hong Yeon and King's best man's. They initially used Like Being Shot by a Bullet by Baek Ji Young.

Blackpink and 2ne1 songs are official song that only aired on 9PM KST on TVN. Dramacool has that original song because they took from that. Some other sites took the re-run video kn TVN that didn't has BP and 2ne1 song. Even in official streaming apk like Viki and Viu, it didn't include that songs bc of copyright issue
