i can indeed see how it could be realistic, on the cynical side of it. i am ok with messiness truly, which is why i started this. but i want my characters to learn and grow from the consequences of messiness. everyone here started sucky and ended a lighter shade of sucky. top had my favorite arc.
this may be a well made show but i didnt enjoy it. it was torture and hope for improvement the only thing compelling…

to be entirely honest this BL is extremely high in NC and extremely low in anything I’d consider romantic. its like they challenged themselves to make the most unromantic BL possible and nailed it.

my dude, at least they are good at the romantic part. nobody is saying they are masterpieces, but they need to deliver on something. after all if you make a mystery/thriller + bl, either one or both need to deliver. like, for instance NOT ME. but this creates a situation where neither the romance nor the thriller is truly good.
sigh, look i think its fine to think this is better than whyru and tharntype, more than fine, i totally see why. those are produced weakly, with messy pacing and in production quality especially MOD is clearly superior. but im a BL watcher, so im looking for primarily romance even though ill accept romance taking a massive backseat if the rest is doing a really good job. this wasnt the case here. and whyru and tharntype deliver on romantic execution and acting even if the rest is subpar.
do you think i wasnt tempted to look at what ppl who left comments i disagree with’s pages and make a similar petty remarks? but ultimately doesnt it make sense that we are all looking for a personal, particular thing especially from a genre that seems to tap into the personal more than any such as romance?
anyway. i do understand why you’d write this and also why you’d disagree. i see how this could seem obviously better than those. just didnt need to be petty about it since you couldve asked a “im curious why youd think whyru/tharntype works for you but not this, considering this have better quality overall?” wouldve done the trick.
