gosh you cant all be so sheltered you havent ficked up, its literally impossible, so if you have no empathy for characters fucking up, you might just be the type that does it but always ends up rationalizing it as not being really your fault. aka, a red flag

walking around causing havoc to anyone who cares and interacts with you and giving no shit about it = red flag
people being flawed and needing a slight smack from life = not red flag (unless they never learn or dont care about harm they cause, or dont try)

are you 11 or close? flawed people arent automatically red flags. we are each driven by our fauly upbringing, insecurities, fears, hopes, etc. you go through things that teach you some of then need to be given less free reign. life is a teacher. as song as you dont always put yourself first, and do your best to do right by yourself and others, everything will fall into place. but no one does not fuck up.
i prefer my characters to be flawed and have to learn, so i really liked this.
i think characters who always make the right move, even in romance, are the most unrealistic and unromantic. the most romantic notion, to me, is that love is a catalyst for introspection and growth.
im glad both luke and tao fucked up at times, that was the whole point.
im enjoying it but i really think the synopsis shouldn’t have included the part where supposedly a rift is formed and they have to have a second try. why? cos it it happens WAY PAST THE MIDPOINT.
at that point you are basically spoiling. this isnt primarily a second chance romance since the majority focuses on the first try.
this story is a testament that it doesn’t matter how long you are with someone if you never challenge eachother you never get to know eachother. these people clearly are very in love but too scared to push and pull at eachother. they both feel like this could easily be lost so they do nothing

exactly! i think its appropriate how things have gone down so far, i enjoy this sense that they both feel like they could easily fall too deep too fast. i enjoy angst that is consistent with characterization
i personally dont count this as miscommunication. the way i see it, they both for different reasons feel extremely vulnerable to the effect the other person has on them, so they each seem to be excessively careful and with that misCONCEPTIONS get formed in each of their minds.

very good tension, yearning, intensity. good acting, this is a pleasant surprise
