this season is definitely not about love, there is no love. just self serving attraction. i hope people dont think this is what love makes you think/feel/do

im curious if the entire journey will make me appreciate this season more in retrospect

its more than lack of communication. its probably lack of knowing themselves. because their motives are blatantly self serving.

is what happens in this season yearning?! not by my definition. id call it warship. and whatever else is going on in this season is very dehumanizing for both leads. hoping this is merely the starting point!

im dying of frustration here. how can the start be such a horrendous experience, im really holding out for season 2

its treated like an oopsie; it was out of love, oopsie, lets move on now as if something serious didnt just happen in fact its not serious because if you really think about arent all paries involved at fault? (for the grape mind you, horrific.)

its so bad idk why no one is talking about it. its the very definition of superfluous and irresponsible. it doesnt in itself do anything for the plot of characters its there just for random sock value and to serve as the most apologetic (of grape) messaging ever.

garbage level handling of grape. ruined it all.

the inner monologue of the bottom reminds me why i got burned out on anime romances.

the acting is only good enough. i like the rest, quite a bit but acting is huge in selling a romance. i wish we had this concept, plot, etc but with the acting quality and of korean dramas. (the acting average is so much higher there for some reason, idk why)

anyway, halfway through and a solid enjoyable watch

this is my second jbl after Out Youth (which is markedly superior). i had similar lamentations on the acting as i came from watching a kbl called Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo in which the acting could not have been better.

loads of chemistry

i mean don’t get me wrong its still a solid 7.5-8/10

this didnt live up to the hype, but the other one “love for love’s sake” does so definitely try that if you liked this.

some people say this is a love triangle well done, i think its because all involved are sweet people. but as far as im concerned this is why i hate love triangles, i cannot stand when the main character struggles to decide between two people. its a pet peeve

im honestly so disappointed, the character i was rooting for got trampled and neglected till the very end

tae kyung actor had really weak acting.

at ep 12 and liking it but not a fan of the fact that:

for 70%+ of the episodes
• main guy is in love with the wrong guy
and then
• we speedrun the main couple in the last 3-4 ep

watched! loved! cried!

im so weirded out by all the love in these comments tbh. this was my favorite drama, is technically still, but its souring things to see how much unabashed support he is getting given the allegations.

why are there so many of you showering love unto this guy? are you also doing it to chris brown and other doubious peole? why? they dont even know we exist. they couldnt care for ppl in their own lives and you think theyd care about us? you? whats this misguided loyaly about? handsomeness? likability? charisma? there are others who have all that and no allegations of this gravity.

(this is my favorite drama and sadly i doubt i can stomach watching him again)

this is literally my favorite drama and yet i dont go around supporting an alleged pdf file. he is a dubious person at best, and the weakest thing about this drama. loyalty like this at the cost of protecting eachother from predatory behavior is not good for society or the individual. he definitely doesnt deserve this, and there are definitely better, more talented, more genuine, more handsome korean actors you can direct this twards.
