The title's clickbait effect definitely worked and am guessing this is a poor translation. If not, then this is in poor taste as it completely derails from the point that the actor is trying to make.
"Project Silence" Star Ju Ji Hoon JESTS: 'Dogs Receive Better Care Than Actors Nowadays' - something like this would have still served the purpose, I feel.
I find Kwon Yool incredibly handsome, having the perfect voice and acting talent that is class apart. Have seen him in many dramas, and currently seeing him in Connection and My Sweet Mobster.
But feel that he is getting typecasted as the prosecutor or related support male leads, OR a baddie (will not name the dramas, #iykyk - as it might be spoilers).
I really wish to see him in a main lead role, away from his serious persona! ๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป๐ค๐ป
Loving how this drama is focusing on the prejudices faced by our Thirsty Deer gang and rehabilitation for ex-convicts, amidst the whole romance/comedy and mystery of childhood/past stories.
Was waiting for this drama to finish and then binge, but the Drama Gods know I have no such willpower. Binged it till the Ep 8 and can't wait for Ep 9 and 10 to be out to watch them.
Since we are now at a crucial junction where the drama can retain its initial excitement + pace + tie all threads together into a beautiful finish OR nose dive - really hoping it unfolds well. โค๏ธ
She reminds me of Kim Min-Gi (Ju Young, True Beauty) - like she could be his sister. They have a slight resemblance, or that's what I felt watching her in My Sweet Mobster.
Unfortunately, none of this is new. MDL has always been a cesspool of obsessed, mentally ill fandoms who will…
I can understand - while I have not had an exact situation here on MDL and I hope it does not happen, which is why I am being vocal on these matters. I am sorry you had such an experience, but glad that you are still on MDL in a capacity you enjoy - because like you, I love this platform and want to cheer on the efforts of the team working hard to make this platform better everyday!
I hope you do not have such encounters, and the least I can say to you or anyone facing a similar situation, I am always up for non-judgmental and healthy discussions, so please feel free to reach out - if you want. And I really hope more and more folks give that safe space for good drama discussions โค๏ธ
They showed a flashback where his gf left him for a rich guy. And now that he has achieved success in his career…
Yes, that's what I thought and shared. But then why is he also making a move on the FL. Is it because now that the FL has the ML's attention, he wants to snatch her away so that the "rich" ML will be heartbroken just like he was. Just that it is the opposite way - since in his case he was "kind of defeated" by a rich guy since his girl went with the "rich" guy as per flashbacks.
But yes, probably his original goal was to get someone rich but looks like he just wants to beat the rich guys no matter who it is.
exactly what i wanna say after reading the content vs the news headline.
Hehehe - its like Naver is sharing news for the sake of it, another marketing gimmick! Not necessary imo - given I will watch it no matter how many parts they make it, and so will others who enjoyed S1.
Till then will wait for Round 2 of "Mugunghwa kkoci pieot seumnida"

This is so sad - there are so many amazing articles/feed posts and people on MDL and other online forums. But I understand where you are coming from, some users make the experience sour.
I was sad to read the line in your comment that you "stopped logging into to MDL for years". I hope you are back and that experience gets better along with meeting/connecting with individuals who are like minded as you
This was the reason for my long post - I know it is a very ideal scenario that am dreaming of, but I hope it does not become that bad that people don't freely express their views for the fear of being attacked on a personal level.
for short dramas, I recommend 1) Splash Splash Love. 2) Blue Birthday. (Acting isn't the best but the story line…
Thanks for reminding about Blue Birthday. I have a feeling it will be similar to Lovely Runner, but I am always interested in such storylines. Thanks for commenting here - and I recalled that I had it on my watchlist since long ๐
Also, Splash Splash Love is beautiful and one of the best web dramas I have seen! Highly recommended!
Well said. If you donโt like the show ( in other words anything that their oppa is involved in) , you get labelled…
If at any point you feel any user is not abiding by the rules of MDL/common ethics of communication on any online forum - do report them. If it is not something worth reporting but still makes you bitter/uncomfortable, do voice it out in an amicable manner.
If you have tried your best to share your point and the other person unchanging - my golden advice is to move on and ignore. The community in MDL and other forums is very wide and I am sure you'd find like minded people who respect others during discussions.
Life is too short to waste on bad dramas, discussions and people as well is my golden mantra!โ๐ป๐๏ธโฎ๏ธ

Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts! Yes, hoping that such incidents stop and no one hurts one another through their written words, just because everyone is trying to share their own interpretations/opinions about anything related to drama/movies! #fingers-crossed
Is not really focused on the leads' romance. 1. They had a couple of kisses and see each other in secret, but…
Thanks a lot for replying and sharing your thoughts! Guess I'll keep it on my watchlist but low/medium priority since it seems to be having fillers and predictable plotline.
But since this has Suho - I am interested, as an EXO-L and because the fact that he's working so hard.
Well, the actor playing ML is one of the reasons I can't get into this drama. Something feels off.So maybe that's…
Haha, I mean I am all for #womenpower and women giving this kind of power aka #kingmakers - but yes, don't mind him getting a drama with her as long as his talent is recognized with or without the aid of fellow cast members.
This is such a contradictory news: Netflix is denying on the fact that S2 and S3 will be sequentially released. So which media outlets are these that are "sharing/revealing" that season 2 and season 3 will be released sequentially on the OTT platform. News when then there is no news ๐คฃ
Also, Netflix literally breaks one season in multiple parts - why would they have Seasons one after the other, in a short span - when they know people will wait for a year and therefore they can earn money later on & therefore, meet their financial targets Year on year!

Adding on to @Hades Questions: 1) Is it slow-paced or makes you want to binge over night? 2) Also 20 episodes worth drama, or could have been short? 3) Does it have predictable plot/twists/turns and are placed well during the drama? 4) Is it worth watching - like a never-seen-before show or can pass?
I keep saying - dramas and MDL are my happy place, and am sure for many others too. It gives me a platform to be more open with like-minded folks and discuss dramas/movies and more. But lately have been seeing such judgmental/passive-aggressive comments that I had to write this. I don't mean to hurt anyone - the idea is we should take care that our words don't hurt anyone conscious or unconsciously. ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
QoT is not a perfect drama, but for some it was. I think we need to firstly understand this fact that not everyone can have the same likes/dislikes and therefore, every opinion must be respected.
I see some comments of agreements and disagreements with the article author's opinion which is good, after all that is the reason we have this platform to share, communicate, discuss and debate in a healthy manner.
But then I see some comments "defending" the drama so much so as to butcher the author's bio and article in case. Fine, get it you love the drama and will reference it till the end of time - but why is there a need to "convert" everyone who found it not "great" and forcibly ask them to see it the way you do. And if they don't, you are labelling them as blind/not having a good taste etc. Honestly it is a shame - as a fellow viewer, and believe me it makes me dislike the drama you are supporting so much even if I was liking it before - just cause of this "rude fandom".
Sincere Request: Let the drama be on the screen and not make the discussion so dramatic, to the point of hurting people and their opinions/views. ๐๐ป

Like a faint resemblance.
