fellow villain , I had to come back here and check on you. are you doing okay with the news? I cried so freaking…
Noo I forgot I commented this ππ Bro I thought it was a joke at first cause it was so sudden?? I'm so mad about the whole situation π I hate jype
As if they are feeling 18+ scenes, chill man πNothing weird in watching teenagers act. There are kids younger…
I agree that there is nothing wrong with teens acting like teens in romance dramas, but not watching it is also their choice. If watching teens in romance makes someone uncomfortable, then they don't have to watch it. It doesn't make them a weirdo.
And while casting young is normal in the industry... it doesn't mean that every actor started out young. There are plenty of new actors that are adults from debut. Look at payback or the edge of horizon, they're all pretty new.

The thing is that bl, as an industry, has a problem with fetishization and problematic age gaps/ages. It's not like the romance genre is the problem here, it's the companies pushing bl towards younger actors. How old do you think the avarage watcher of this show is??
Also saying 16 year olds are in their prime rn, is weird asf π I dont see a problem with young adults (18-21 year olds) playing HS roles... (And btw horror is completely different in this context)
i saw the first actor and was like okayyy theyβre young but maybe itβll just be a cute fluffy romance then…
Don't worry bro I understand you. Acting at this age is not necessarily a problem... The sexualization and fetish behavior in the bl industry is what worries me, when casting actual kids. (not saying thats whats happening here tho) The people replying to you are jumping into conclusions πβοΈ
