And yes eighTEEN year olds are TEENS, even if they're legal adults by law. They can do whatever they want as adults, but that doesn't stop the fact that they're young and naive. And countless weirdos take advantage of this specifically. Just because history has had child-adult marriges, doesn't make it okay today. Are slavery or torture okay because it was done a few hundred years back? No, and all of that is still being done anyway right now.
