after jtbc's chocolate and tvn's crashlanding on you, i'm happy to see another 2000s-early 2010s kinda drama again. a cliche rom-com is the best to watch while taking a breather from the more serious and intense dramas and also while taking a break from life.

a small correction: the korean version did not "launch" the school franchise. school series was first launched in 1999 and aired until 2002. after a hiatus it was relaunched in 2012 as 'school 2013' starring lee jongsuk, kim woobin, jang nara and choi daniel. it was followed by 'school 2015: who are you' and school 2017.
