I got into Japanese dramas after watching Super Sentai for a few years. Wish I had found them sooner. Despite being 38 I love Super Sentai and Kamen Rider still, and love to watch it with my son (and on my own) I love to make mvs of some of my favourite shows on my YouTube channel Perkin127 and am always looking for more inspiration, which luckily means watching much more dramas and films :) I mostly listen to metal music and Kpop, athough my love of video making often leads me to listen to many different types. In  2016  I fell down the Kpop hole, and stan too many bands..... but despite trying I don't enjoy Kdrama as much as Jdrama although I have seen a few I have enjoyed. I started Thai drama fr the BL but soon found other ones I enjoyed and recently have fallen into wuxia dramas. Before I found dramas my main love was sci-fi especially Stargate. However have come to realise how much I prefer Japanese style tv more than most American or English programs. I love to watch more sci-fi/fantasy dramas and have big thing for historical dramas too but if you add time travel into the mix I love it even more XD I don't tend to watch much anime, I prefer live action, but i do watch some occasionally and I am a One Piece fan.
