what a journey!! imho 10 score is still not enough, it deserve a million

Damn this drama is beautiful yet painful at the same time. it made me cry a bunch of tears.
They have all element that i want from a drama. Best drama of this year so far????.

STORY : It have super super balance romance-politic plot, both are amazing.
Romance? U will never see something steamy kiss or somekind like that. Well we know Zhousheng Chen have his own vow and in other side Shiyi very respect towards his shifu. but.....even without that scene we can KNOW, how deeps their love was, we know even we just see from their eyes, sometimes love not always show from word.isnt?

CHARACTER : One makes this drama perfect is, we have so much memorable character, like no one character that useless, so i never skip even for half seconds. can't counting character that i love here, from main lead, supporting character, side character i love all of them. Seems no even a little useless second for this drama.

PRODUCTION : music, costume, setting, cinematography, script, plot it's perfect. THAT'S!

If i can i'm willing erase memory about this drama and rewatch again.

This is my first review, sorry for my bad english :' .Since the first time I heard the info will be produced NIF's seguel I'm really not interested, I'm afraid this sequel drama will be like other sequel dramas- promising at first but end up draggy- But that was a big mistake!! Don't ask which one is better NIF1 or NIF2? because I do not know the answer. for me these two dramas are equally amazing. Nirvana in fire 2 focuses more on revenge and friendship while nirvana in fire 2 focuses on family relationships and loyalty (note that we also can see many lovely friendship ). epic combination of romance-detective-spy-thriller-suspense-comedy

OMG this drama was so good I love everything about it.
It has great plot, great acting, even the support character was memorable too. Yan Jin-Xiao Ou is my new favorite couple, they can make me cry and laugh aloud, I need to add Xiao Ou as another brilliant female character in drama land..in my opinion she was smart, wise, and mature while Yan Jin is complete package (despite so much case that entangled witth him huehue).
my another favorite? Cheng Rui Min, I like his character so much, friend that u need at least one in your life.

about the ending? maybe it can be regarded as cliffhanger right? but I don't want to think too much, caused I'm typical who either the ending was happy, sad ,or cliffhanger as long as the plot and story good I'm already satisfied.
but i still hope there's will be sequel or maybe extra episode which show they're happily together.

I'm finally finish it and strangely without skip a little bit. Usual sport drama usually focused more on the player as main lead and we will watching him growth in the drama. This drama is about newly appointed general manager of baseball team (who knows nothing about baseball) to 'manage' Dreams team that always rank bottom in few season consecutively.

For a drama focused on sport it has different plot with usual sport drama, instead the drama give us another point of view--> internal management of a sport club : GM, operational , marketing , scout , and analysis department. I know literally NOTHING about baseball but this give me new knowledge enough about a sports club such as scouting, trading player, contract negotiation, match analysis.

This is my first time watching Nam Gong Min as Lead character and i enjoyed his stone-stoic-flat character and the lead female too. last episode definitely my favorite, and i was so happy watching Lee Je hon as cameo there, he is something.This drama maybe not flawless but overall I enjoy it

Some Plot Hole

Ibcan say this is a good romance drama especially for first half drama. but there is so many plot hole near the end...

the plot twist about cheng yin, waw that's very unpredictable and giving me shock, i think they gonna make this as a bomb to give more dramatic effect for drama, see she even got ptsd because of that..but until last minute they never tell about that again. hey why did you make a creepy twist if u can't make a proper closure.

-part when Yin Ji identity reveal to public...so what??

-our fl suddenly sick near end without any explanation about her condition and suddenly in next second she wake up and bla bla bla

once again this is a good drama but too much repetition scene with same vibe but in the end the ending seems rush. Until in last five minutes of drama i checking number episodes to make sure if this is really last episode.

-whats wrong with lift in this drama? Not once or twice it suddenly stop, bit three times! Or more?

A great drama can go downhill in a second

my journey to you is one example where a superb good drama can slip downhill in a secon. damn this drama starting with a great steps imho. the character was so satisfying, the costumes is feast to eyes, and the most importan is the cinematography! it was amazing.. dark yet aesthetic, even there is time when i think that this one is drama with best cinematography as far as i can remember. so… my mistake to having a high expectation, after some episode the story getting draggy, the weak-mainlead not having character improvements at all, at first i think he was gonna becoming zero-to-hero character, but again despite all that happen in story he becoming more dull, blame the poor plot for that.

there's one moment when hajin asking Jung Hoon's opinion regarding his career 1. choose sign contract with k-movie or 2. continue his movie project in usa both, noted that both are great opportunities.

Literally she will doing anything what Jung Hoon choose, and deep inside she hoping jung hoon will suggest 2nd choices which means asking her to stay and they can meet whenever they want.

But what amaze me is Jung Hoon not blatantly suggest hajin for first choice, he was actually search and learning a whole night about both choice, the producer, script etc(since he don't understand anything about movie-land) which is the best choice for hajin.


this is not a drama about a man who continues to be sorrowful because of his hyperthymesia nor about woman who grim about his past this is about the way they deal with every problems.

I love Gongjun and his acting but the script really frustate me, truy.

I'm already in ep 6, but for some reason I think the script keeps going downhill, the problem is not with the actors, I think so far their acting is good and there are no problems.

imho so many bad scenes from the start, especially in the rescue process because this drama mainly focuses on firefighters and based on real stories so I had high expectations.

In the tunnel scene I thought it would be a big opening scene for the drama, my imagination thought that the tunnel would explode or something big like that, I started to wonder when the firefighters entered the tunnel without gas masks, did not rush to put out the fire, and did not rush to move the victim out of the tunnel, but it turned out that the scene was just hype to save a pregnant woman and there was no other rescue scene.

In the building scene, where FL is thrown and trapped inside..why? Why did they put the medical too close to the fire site?? Oh my god that's so dangerous. And when the girl got caught in the fire, I don't think the fire was big enough at the time, but they didn't rush in to save her as soon as they could, and just ordered her to close the windows on each floor and tell her to go upstairs to wait for rescuers. I don't understand if this is true or not as I don't know much about firefighters, but this sight definitely bothered me. In the scene following the medical firefighter training, I was also speechless. FL went alone to look for victims, didn't wait for the rescue team to come first, luckily nothing happened to him. And the absurd debate with their leader whether to operate on the victim on the spot or save him first (helloww, he will die if he is not operated on on the spot, and it's just a simple operation process so why are they arguing and wasting time)

still 6 episodes and there are so many flaws in the script not to mention talking about love stories that hmmmm... hufft. But I'll stay (with some fast forwarding) because I love dramas about firefighters and I love gongjun I hoping this drama will getting better in the next episodes..

UPDATE
I've dropped this drama since eps 8, but decided to jump to eps 22-24 for watching the final arc
and the result, I gotten more speechless with this drama. When Huo Yan went to save Yan Lan his head hit so many times by enemy...by a group of people in road, also by his main enemy. His head...hitten with a chair (until the chair shatters into pieces), hit with an iron pipe! and then he fell from the second floor .
okay I can still accept that he's still alive after everything but what doesn't make sense to me is...after coming out of the operating room there are only little scratc and a littlepatch in his forehead that look FAKE!just that, not even a bandage around his head, hey where are thse previous wounds?did his head made from rock? I know it's a drama but can't you make a little more sense?

What make me dissapointed more is this actually a potential drama, thry have great actor too but sadly it not executed well.

Honestly this drama have so much good thing i was so appreciate the cinematography, beautiful lighting, acting and good premise

credit to sun yun luo' actress..wow her acting during disguise as ma in few first few episode very convincing! It not like usual cross-dressing in drama when you wear man's clothing and voilaaa you becoming like A man.

But unfortunately still have drop it, maybe mostly caused the plot not my cup of tea, and bcoz so many tell it similar with Nirvana In Fire so I can't stop myself to compare it. Well it have some similarity, combination btween court-jianghu, main lead and second lead character little bring back character from NIF but still the slyness level still part away
