Normally, the sequel has never been better than the first one. But, Love in Pavilion is def far beyond more interesting than the boring Red Moon pact! Amazing pairing of couples here. Each one has great chemistry and fantastic story to tell. Superb cast and acting! Whatever happens with the ending, itâs enough to give it 9.5. I have a feeling that Sword and beloved would be great as well đ¤

Never previously watched the lead cast as main characters in other dramas. Tho most acting were somehow problematic and stiff, except the mother (Ruan Xi Wen), as the rating, I have given it a go and watching to the end. Theyâre elements of good in the story that could be praised but perhaps for some reason, itâs still not enough to give me more than 8.5/10 after watching dramas with more experienced cast like Yang Zi and Li Xian, and Bailu and Ou Hao, Jing Tian and Zhang Wanyi and recently Tang Yan and Liu Xueyi. Maybe Itâs just me đ But donât get me wrong, Itâs a good drama to watch despite the acting.
Tang Yan acting is maturely growing. For me, this may be the best of Tang Yan costume drama performance I can enjoy after a while as I last watched her in the Legend of Xiao Chuo. Debating the age difference of lead castâŚwell, I donât think thereâs any oddity about it. Tang Yan do posses more youth and beauty in her 40s and Liu Xue Yi is always an attractive figure. They are beautiful together tho, graceful couple to enjoyably watch until the end. I hope the ending would wrap everything justly, 5 more episodes to go, but enough for me to give 10/10 đ
Itâs just really frustration when reading reviews of 1 rating for such a good drama with tremendous cast like this. With such a beautiful production and acting, even if itâs not your liking and maybe not the best original novel interpretation, Si Jin didnât really deserve rating that low. It is still entertaining drama to watch.

Of course anyone is free to drop any drama anyhow if itâs not their cup of tea . But I donât think words âsimpâ and âshittyâ are fit for this drama! Itâs rather harsh. You perhaps havenât watched long enough to judge a good drama with good cast and acting like this. Conversely, so much is going on in this drama to watch enjoyably. I am in England but I do watch C-drama with subtitle more than anything :)
The story and chemistry are def better and better toward the end. Zhang Wan Yi actually can be as adorable as Xu Kai with Jing Tian, I couldn't stop smiling watching them together :)
I care less with whatever original plot in the book was as I havenât read it anyway. Itâs still one of a good dramas for me to enjoy watching till the end as just Zhang Wan Yi and JingTian in it, theyâll make this work regardless đ

This is one of surprisingly captivating drama with a new promising male lead. I could continuously watching 5-10 episodes a day during Christmas holiday! Li Yun Rui and Meng Ziyi were a picture perfect, fantastic chemistry. Itâs a highly recommended costume drama!

I rated good drama 10.0 and Shen Li is a good drama. Nothing to do with you or the actresses. I have watched various drama with different actors or actress . I would never defame any talented actors or actresses like you always do. Itâs just a horrid you. And Li Landi acting is commendable btw!
