She is the best and one of the most talented Chinese actresses in my opinion if you really watched the range of characters she’s played up to ADWAD! Her work is packed and she’s mostly the main lead. Her acting somehow even better than what we called top famous and of the Dan thing, like Yang mi for instance. I just never understand the mainland China viewers and film industry, It is ashamed that she’s under appreciated in her own country. I always like watching her drama not really care about she’s popular or unpopular 😊

Fortunately, it is in UK, I have both Viki and IQIYI subscription here where I can even watch ADWAD in 4K

Yes, I remembered, I should mentioned her in Bloody Romance as well. She had an amazing intense acting as Wan Mei. What an endurance! Two difficult characters in a row with lots of tears and heart breaking scenes. But it’s worth it. I love costume historical/palace drama. Though Royal Nirvana is not an easy watch for some, It’s complex and nerve wrecking, but I agree with you, it’s worth it watching those 72 episodes and made her one of my first best C-actress to watch 👍👍👍

100% Aye! Tbh, I have been following her work not because of her popularity but her acting. I always look forward to see what she’ll become in her new drama. Her upcoming Fox Spirit Matchmaker with Cheng Yi would be another interesting character change for her . Can’t wait 😊

Li Yitong is really a brilliant actress. She created and played many different characters seriously well whatever the scripts are and never mind what people think of her. Who would have noticed that lead female Gu A'Bao/Lu Wen Xi in Royal Nirvana, Qiu Qian in Love You Forever movie and The mighty goddess Si Ming in Love Between Fairy and Devil is actually hilarious Song Yi Meng 😂

Li Yitong is one of my favourite C-drama actresses tbh. Unfortunately, she’s always been underrated and hasn’t got recognition she deserved. I first watched her in Legend of the Condor Heroes and Royal Nirvana, then I have been watching most of her works ever since . Her acting is always naturally great. She’s just too low profile.

I watched Cupid’s kitchen. She was good there but not making much impact to make me following her work. But after completing Prisoner of Beauty, I start searching for Song Zuer other dramas to watch as I knew Liu Yuning would have his exciting upcoming drama with Li Yitong. Her acting and emotional chemistry in POB has surprisingly exceeded my expectation. I believe her adorable baby face expression would make everyone smile, we’ll miss Man Man so much 😊 Any recommendation?

Because of the high rating, I really did try to watch and complete the untamed tho. But perhaps I am just the few people who are struggled to enjoy the untamed 🙏 Hence, I would remember XZ more as Zang Hai for along run as I have finally seen his complex mature character here that can showcase his acting skill and finally caught my attention ☺️

By far, Prisoner of Beauty is best of the best Asian dramas I‘ve watched that has everything in it in a perfect proportion. It’s a massive success come back for adorable Song Zuer in which her fierce yet emotionally gentle chemistry with Liu Yuning was top of the chart and would be a tricky benchmark to beat by other Cdrama in the future . Def 10/10 as it’s exceptionally special!

Despite how talented is Xiao Zhan, none of his previous dramas with him as the lead caught my attention and mostly dropped them in the end. For me this is best of him by far 👍 Enjoying it throughout, though I just hope more for the ending, hence 9.5. And also because I’ve just finished Prisoner of Beauty which’s probably the best c drama I’ve watched by far with everything in it
