There is willy touching alright here - I think something happened by the bookshelves too. What the Chinese fans…
Don't get me wrong. Willy touching is ok or I wouldn't have watched "My Stuuborn". I just looked at the scene several times and couldn't see it on the televised program. It might have been on uncensored scenes...but, I don't know where to find those.
I'm trying to insert my consciousness into each character's thoughts. SSY has been a playboy with no true attachments to his paramours. HY felt immediately drawn to SSY at 8 years old. He's loved and cared for SSY for 15 years. He started a division which costs billions simply to help SSY's father. HY doesn't want to be a one night stand. He wants to be needed, wanted and loved to the same degree he's experienced for 15 years. He's basically at the top of the food chain with outrageous strength and a genius, but he chooses to lower his status and appear needy and weak to appeal to an S-class alpha who most would assume is extraordinarily strong. His thinking is complex and focused on the long term goal of aquiring his mate permanently. In one of the past episodes he even says he will risk dying to remove his gland so SSY can mark him. He's willing if necessary to remain subservient to continue a relationship with SSY.
On a different note I love Gao Tu. He's a beautiful conflicted moral person who loves SWL deeply. He doesn't feel worthy of having a relationship with SWL and doesn't feel it's feasible. When they hookup in the staff lounge, he can't get the physical intimacy out of his thoughts. SWL is awful. He's arrogant and constantly critical. Frankly it seems like anything they develop will be a toxic relationship. This episode provided a few redeeming moments for SWL. The writers don't have to turn him into a warm and fuzzy individual, but it would be desirable if he was more likeable. The only reason I care about the 2nd couple is because of Gao Tu.
Has it still not clicked for Shao that Hua is also the same person who assaulted him in that hotel room yet?
I don't think he's connected the dots yet. Basically their nc scene was a pheromone induced rape which still had elements of attraction because of...pheromones. SSY felt violated because he was sexually used like an omega and in his mind the only person capable physically of doing that was another S-class alpha. Alpha on alpha is a big no-no. Can't wait to see how this unfolds in the next episode.
It's on Iqiyi under the name "Depth of Love". This is probably the 2nd really good short drama that has a quality production I've seen. The other one is, also, on Iqiyi "What a Good Girl". It has Kechun in it.
If anyone knows any other really good vertical short dramas, please let me know where you found them and the name.
All 4 main leads are doing an excellent job with their characters . So, I'm not detracting from their abilities at all when I say Eliot Huang is amazing!
Wait! I just thought of something! Did Hua Yong do something to Sheng's dad? Because it said 2 years ago is when…
Yong started the targeted drug program to help Sheng's dad because he obsessively loves Sheng. The whole story is based on his consuming love and devotion to Sheng. But, Yong is a genius who wants to be loved by Sheng. He doesn't want to just be his lover. He wants to be his mate and the father of their children. Every convoluted machination is geared toward Sheng returning his love.
The room was supposed to be dark but editing team are not good , even the cameramen might not be that good . and…
I hate really dark scenes because I can't see them well. I do agree though that both NC scenes probably needed to be in dimmer rooms. The abo influence in their "intimacy" plundered the romance. Hua Youg is just beginning to reveal his biological superiority. Mr. Shen is just unpleasant...period. I don't know if the storyline can redeem his character. He's very unlikeable.
Well, episode 9 NC scenes were so sanitized I could smell the bleach. I understand the censorship issues, but would one open mouthed kiss be too much to ask. The characters barely touch each other lips.
Considering the restraints put on Chinese BL's the scenes were discreetly done with enough inference to get the point across.
In context of the omegaverse I find the mating problem Hua Youg has and that he escaped his isolation room understandable if still unpalatable. I've been reading the novel so I know he has his work cut out for him developing a long term relationship with an S -Alpha who is use to being the strongest most dominant gender.
Guo Tu is just sad. He's a gentle moral man who's endured unrequited love for 10 years. Then, the arrogant jerk he loves is overcome by pheromones and finally has sex with him...which technically was probably, also, rape if you take out the omegaverse world building. Guo Tu definitely deserves better.
In the real world we're often confronted by unpleasant choices and situations. I don't expect the fictional world to be an idealized version. Open discussion about the pros and cons provokes thought. Frankly older romance novels often had the hypocritical rape scenario. The woman is raped but, oh baby...loves it so much. She's usually a virgin taken advantage of by a worldly experienced man. It's repugnant! The current more honest acceptance of mutually enjoyed intimacy is more desirable.
The 4 ML's are doing a terrific job with their characters. I resorted to reading the novel and the show so far is following the storyline closely. I liked how I understood the series better with the added details in the novel. I'm totally obsessed! The relationships of both couples is developing more depth...slowly. The frustrating part is it's moving sl.l.o.wly; the addiction is it's moving at a pace you can't stand to miss anything. This is going to be one of my favorite BL's. I wish there were a way to buy these for a permanent library. If anyone knows how, please let me know. Some of the platforms stop carrying them eventually.
im wanting to watch this can anyone tell me what its like / the characters, since i recently finished revenged…
It's worth your time. The characters are complex. In Omegaverse the world building is different than conventional BL's. The pacing is slower than I would like, but in the over all scheme appropriate. I'm totally hooked.
Luso is such a outstanding actress! It would be a shame to lose her in the entertainment industry. I think her going public speaks to her desperation to get results in a situation where corporate power is being disingenuous and ultimately uncaring about their artist's welfare. The company statement is so obviously trying to paint her as someone who is being a drama queen. Frankly I think the entertainment industries in any country but especially in China should have built-in statements regarding their artist's health and sabbaticals from constant performances. She was so obviously being overworked and being pushed to perform beyond reasonable limits!

If I pay for an online streaming platform, can I download the series and it still be on my phone or computer for later consumption even if it's removed from the platform?
Let me see if anyone knows how you can actually purchase these series permanently. I am enamored by several BLS. Right now I have access to them in online streaming platforms, but I would like to have a guarantee that I can watch the actual video productions in the future.
I try to read the English translations of the novels. But, sometimes that is not very indicative of the actual video production. And it also depends on how well the translation is done.
