WineFaifa had the most potential and I feel robbed ㅠㅠ no bullshit controlling behavior, no weird backstory/trauma, no cliche ex girlfriend and whatnot... But because the producers feel the need to give every single couple undue screen time during THEIR portion of the show... their story is blatantly rushed. Or it might just be Mark's acting (or lack thereof) that makes this love story unconvincing? They just never really looked attracted to each other...

Please, someone take Junior out of GMMTV, give him a proper script and acting partner, I'm begging!! I didn't suffer through ArcArm and YothaGun just for this half baked plot 🥲

I would think at this point they would have had the time to like… watch good series and learn from them?? If I can point this out after one episode I would guess an actual professional would spot these mistakes right away. Or do they just not pay their editors…

Thoughts after watching ep.11

- When will they learn to cut off mouth sounds? I was cringing during Pos scenes because of the breathing
- Good cinematography and ok acting don't make for a quality series if the writing is all over the place... This reads like a fujoshi wattpad story with all the clichés that come with it
- Pemika is the most well written character here, for once GMMTV gave a somewhat realistic portrait of an evil boss
- They're really stretching episodes, so many scenes are just soooo long, there's no use for this many uncut, almost static shots
- I might be nitpicky but waiting for each character to finish their line before cutting to the next shot makes every scene so boring and unnatural. For an experienced production company they never fail to make their series look amateurish

It's obvious this is not the series for me but I have a hard time quitting something I start so I will have to power through lol... Don't recommend to anyone who's already fed up with GMMTV, you will not find what you're looking for here!

I guess rather than clueless I should’ve insisted on ‘innocent’. What grown man starts getting all flustered and panicked at the thought of sex? I get performance anxiety, but he looked like the thought didn’t even cross his mind before Thame picked up the ‘condom’ box.


But the most annoying point to me is the lack of initiative when they are both alone together after being an established couple. Why the big round eyes after your boyfriend who you just had sex with kisses you? It feels like Est lost all personality after they got together and now he is just there to ‘receive’ Thame’s affection…

Po is a grown man who has been in a committed long-term relationship before... Why is he acting so clueless in front of Thame, who is in his first ever relationship? He should be leading here, but instead they got such an unrealistic dynamic. It feels like Thai bl producers will get a stroke if they don't make one of the lead act like a naive oblivious puppy, which is so frustrating.

Why is this drama getting such strong negative reviews? Jisoo’s acting is fine, it’s not like her costars are much better than her?

I agree, thk was a bit more daring with its storyline but the lack of budget kinda prevented from really bringing it together :/

So far I'd say it's a very well shot but boring drama... Kind of a no fault when it comes to Thai bls (especially for GMMTV), but everything feels very forgettable? The Jun drama could've made things interesting if it went further, but it feels like the cast being an already established idol group they couldn't risk one of the members damaging their image by becoming a villain, so they didn't push it.

Overall it's everything I would've hoped for in 2014 when actors still had a hard time with skinship and writers didn't know how to move forward a story without using misunderstandings as a plot device. But getting rid of those flaws doesn't make for an engaging story by default... I also think they should've aired it entirely in 2024 as a last quarter feel good drama for everyone to end the year on a good note, because ending it like this in the middle of the first quarter will just prompt everyone to forget about it by spring.

Alright Joong was definitely the star of this drama... I wish he was given a more seasoned partner, but Dunk managed to not be too awkward the entire show that their scenes were still enjoyable (but really who told him to put his hands on his hips as default it's just such an unnatural pose it took me out every time lmao)

I hope s2 is as good as the 1st one it might give hope for a s3!

And I wouldn’t recommend the webtoon, it doesn’t go as deep into each character so it ends up kind of a cliché bully vs underdog story, they really leveled it up for the live action!

Is only part of the cast revealed or are we dropping many characters from the webtoon?

I’m wondering if they’re planning a season 3 because how could they possibly fit 250+ chapters into this season when they had the whole first season based on only 12 chapters…

I read the webtoon after watching this drama and I’m amazed at how they could create such an engaging story with so little to work with… For once you can say that the adaptation surpasses the source material, and by far! I can’t wait for season 2 whether they can keep this up

omg didn't know who Jittirain was but I looked up her profile and all her dramas are in my dropped list... no wonder I didn't like this one

I learned about her from a reddit thread claiming the reason for her health deterioration was primarily mistreatment from her management…

They were claiming they wouldn’t let her drink/eat at all on sets, would throw things at her, leave her stranded after shooting, etc…

Why isn’t mentioned here? Or was it just rumors?

This show is so badly written... GMMTV writers used up all their potential for the ArmSandPo trio and gave up for the rest ahh

I've realized while watching episode 14 that one of the big reason GMMTV shows have lacked in quality writing recently is that they try to force some weirdly *educational* content in every episode. I want to watch something genuine, believable, not have the rules of consent and relationship 101 forced down my throat. But target demographic being tweens it's fair game I guess.

@Maxy If nobody was ever critical of anything, we would never get any improvement. If you just look a few years back, there used to be a complete erasure of skin ship between same sex couples, there was always the 'ex-girlfriend trope', constant homophobia, etc... And we spoke up, things evolved.

Now I'm speaking up against awful writing and lackluster acting, because really sometimes it feels like we are farm animals being fed whatever just because they know we'll eat it up. If more people asked for quality over quantity, then maybe GMMTV would hear us and work on their shortcomings. So no, I will not leave this comment section because you're angry I'm not appreciating this show as much as you'd like.
