Does this series come from a manhwa?

someone on letterboxd said that the plot moved faster than a car crash and i couldnt agree more
absolutely no substance to this movie, felt like they just wanted to film some erotic scenes and composed the most basic and rushed plot to make it happen

i don't get the praise here the acting was bad and the music choices are weird.. overall very amateur realization

The original is a classic and everyone like me who watched it around the time of release would tell you how fond they are of it, but honestly starting it now could be pretty disappointing... It has clichés, sexism and lgbt phobia, and I remember how frustrating it was back in the days when the story asked for skinship and they just couldn't deliver most likely due to homophobic guidelines at the time. However both main leads where great in their roles so maybe I'd recommend watching their cuts only to get the feel of it without the frustration!

that female teacher annoys me so much there is absolutely no life behind her eyes!! how did she get cast for this role when everyone else outplays her... the awful dubbing doesn't help

also how can you be 30 yo and look like that o.o I was expecting Benjamin to be an 05 baby not 95 🫠

You know what they could've done? Instead of selling it as an OffGun office romance and not delivering at all, they could've used Pie as kind of an omniscient character, observing all the relationships and hardships of people working around her. Making her the center of this drama would've helped immensely because atm there is literally no storyline holding all of it together. Sure we're starting and ending with Ryan's romance, but we lost him in the middle, making him more of a side character in his own story.

Overall this drama is very badly written and disappointing and I'll just keep skipping to Off scenes because he's hot in these button up shirts

Tbh I also only started it for OffGun... but they have little to no screen time which is a big part of why this show is annoying me. Just looking at the poster, they sold it as an OffGunn office romance but didn't deliver at all 😭 If I went blindly into it I would genuinely believe Bahmee to be the main character of the show...

i feel like this series was such a hit when it was released that it is worth it just for it’s significance in thai bl history… but other than that definitely entertaining throughout!

Forgot i added this on MyDramalist but seeing it again makes my heart break 😭 Jeup had no business not debuting and coming from someone who was there at the finale I assure you he looked incredibly sad and defeated,, I know he's doing great these days but I'll forever stay bitter about Mnet going with "teams" instead of making a ranking based group... BDU is flopping because they were not brave enough to create a 2am 2.0 and instead went the young cute idol route :(( (Don't come at me I'm a hardcore Jay Chang fan so it's no aim at him)

Right? Or they could use the trainee/superior trope and add toxicity/bad consequences from the bosses, show how they know that what is going on is wrong, how they would try to hide from everyone else, etc.. basically they could make it realistic without letting go of the premise! But no, with GMMTV it's always a fantasy world where everything you do has no real consequence :(

Also i feel like it's moving way too fast... They barely exchanged a word so far and tbh the chemistry is lacking between the two this time. Maybe if the storyline focused on the main couple it would've been believable but I agree with other comments here that it feels more like a show about Bahmee with RyanJane being the side couple :(
