It is actually a first love experience for the main character. And that was how the character was written in the…
I watched the JP version so I’m aware of that! the characters in the JP version looked more mature in my eyes (maybe because i never saw them play teenagers unlike TayNew) so I could appreciate it more as an office romance that’s all..
one thing i can't get behind even if i try really hard is TayNew playing 30 years old 😭 I know they actually are, but they look so youthful and I'm so used to see them in high school/university settings that it's hard to see them as working adults... so the story still feels like a teenager's first love and it's a bit annoying ngl
why everyone's review is so high? it got boring real fast after ep 4, i fast forwarded everything after that. The dialogues are awkward (who waits 10 secs between each sentence in a speech?). The alien storyline I couldn't bear to watch so I skipped entirely. PhobPhat were decent but I couldn't feel the passion... I didn't watch Oxygen so unlike everyone here I am unaware of how much of a step up this series was for Nut, so for me his acting was okayish, still felt a little exaggerated and not genuine most of the time. Really if you want to watch a good love story between a boy and a ghost I'd stick to OhmSingto in He's Coming to Me, at least this one makes more sense.
STANDARDS? HA. Who the hell are you? A Wannabe professional critic? Who are you to tell people what they should…
You're acting like making a good low budget bl before 2023 was some sort of impossible task. I'd say there's a difference between good intentions and good direction. Addicted came out a year before that and under much more harsh censorship than SK ever had, and although it's still not the best, you got well rounded characters and a storyline that somewhat made sense. Compared to that LTNS definitely felt like a rushed school project, and not "a great piece of content".
And ultimately I won't be judging you for liking this, I enjoyed dumb dramas like My School President lmao. But you can't tell me this is "solid"... Apart from Woo Suk the acting is amateurish and the editing is all over the place. At best I could understand a 2017 pov, but watching this in 2023 feels like wasting time. If that's all the director had to offer back then, they could've showed the fun push and pull sofa scene and kept the rest to themselves.
Why is everyone's review so high guys where are your standards?? Acting by Tak Woo Suk was 10/10 but other than that this is the most boring predictable and highly skippable story a bl has to offer... Even though this theme isn't common in the bl genre, it is so common in regular dramas that to pull it off you have to do more than hire a hardly threatening bald guy and call your hitman protagonist "flying dagger"... Running time is way too short for such an ambitious project, and it ends up looking half baked. Chemistry was good though, definitely with more budget and better supporting cast this could have been improved greately, but I can't give this series more than a 3 lmao
I dropped it last year after ep 4 because the push and pull between Mark and Vee was getting exhausting... My mistake, I just finished ep 9 today and can't bring myself to watch the next because i don't want it to end :(
is jaab just bad at acting or is he playing the most accurate and true to life portrayal of an awkward person?? either way i will forgive him for everything because how can one be this handsome ><
I don’t get the disliking for this series?? Maybe because the pacing is a little fast?
The storyling is nothing too unbelievable for a drama, the actors are great (idk what everyone is saying Book is 100% a better actor than Force, everything he does is over exaggerated but that’s what his character is so i don’t have a problem with it…)
The only main downside for me is the storyline revolving around Cher’s friends, every clip is too short! I feel like there needs to be more dialogue so we get a better picture of their idea, and get some more background for the other couple, but overall i really like this show, it’s sweet!
WHY do they try to resolve every conflict in the stairwell?? They see eachother every other night at home yet they don’t seem to ever be talking about the important stuff when they ACTUALLY have privacy…Hell they have a phone, they can text eachother if they’re too uncomfortable talking out loud! Every normal person would take the time to explain the why and hows for the cancellation of a trip! UGH I’m so mad at this show…
i dont care about the story i'm just enjoying him lmao
