Big favor FL but gotta say the attorney is the scene stealer for me.
Their chemistry is really obvious ... like its the strongest out of any pair so far which is likely by design but they better develop this we've got 12 more episodes so ill be hoping
Something I thought was interesting was that the two main leads aren't really giving off much chemistry, but when they're in a scene with their respective "second leads" there's suddenly chemistry. I think that's intentional because of the premise but I find it really interesting and I kind of want to see where they're going to take this.
Also, something that's kind of irking me is that the drama seems to implying is that if you no longer have butterflies or get excited when you see ur partner of 10 years that it means your relationship has fizzled out. That's definitely not the case... again it's early so I don't know what the true intention or message is yet but for one after 10 years that's definitely normal, it's not a red flag sign. In fact you should feel calmer around your partner because they're your family at some point.
Anyways the characters' main issue isn't even that, I guess there's some sort of codependency thats turned toxic between them. Again I'm kind of intrigued... because I wonder if this a story of how two people find their way back to each other or how they learn to grow as individuals and move onto relationships that better suit the people they've become.
I must say specifically attorney and Mi Do scenes have WAY more chemistry in comparison to Mido and Namgung. Like off the bat its a completely different tone
The chemistry is so off despite having so much skinship. It looks like Undercover high school had better chemistry…
I think that's on purpose. Like their relationship has fizzled out so the audience isn't supposed to feel any sort of chemistry between them. I will say they are showing a lot more chemistry with the other two leads for me, again I think that's intentional, but it's interesting because I wonder if they're going to be predictable with this plot or if they'll give us something new.
I had more hopes for this drama, and personally for me while it's not a "bad" drama it just didn't deliver anything memorable. I felt like the pacing wasn't as great for one with the ending feeling quite rushed and abrupt. I think the second leads storyline was also a lot more interesting compared to the main leads and honestly I was only tuned in for them.
I really like this drama so far. At first I thought it was going to be a little like World of the married just thematically but it seems like it won't be and I'm glad because it feels fresh and different. Also it seems like the two girls might be more than just friends? It's pretty obviously hinting at that and I wonder what that'll entail for the overall story. But so far there's a lot going on I mean we have divorce, cheating, rags to riches, crime.... i wonder how it's all gonna fit in 8 eps
Ok since everyones already addressing all the major things here let me just punch in something entirely unnecessary for the hell of it.. Near the end of ep 8... that blue hued kiss scene...dare I say spiciest scene I've seen this year from a kdrama. So spicy it was hard to watch ngl like I was just looking away after a bit. Felt like that meme with the chair at the corner of the room. But director...damn he had a vision
Ok so far I’m liking this drama. I particularly like the direction, it’s definitely a little different and not typical of kdrama so it’s refreshing to see something a little new mixed with the usual formula we know lol
I think this character is def HIY’s strong suit which are characters that are flirty and a little arrogant. Also there’s prob a lot more to that backstory ofc it’s only been 2 episodes but with a grudge like that there has to be something deeper
Chemistry is good already too so hopefully the writing doesn’t tank half way 🙏🏻
I am curious about the real Shin Seori. Where did her soul go?
I think it's more so that Shin Seori is Kang Dan shim but in present time .... like they're the same soul, and her past life essentially "woke up" maybe
Can I be honest... I wasn't too fond of the ML before this drama. I never disliked him, I just didn’t care for him. But he’s such a gem of an actor. He uses every muscle in his face and portrays this character so naturally. That ending scene in episode 9 was insane. Going through multiple emotions in such a short time isn’t easy, and he did it seamlessly. I’m a fan now, fr... LJY is amazing as well of course, we already know that. However, I think this drama is definitely where Heo Nam Jun is getting his flowers.
I think it's very intuitive for their characters to argue. Two alphas LOL ... but I think it's also not a bad thing bc they are entirely themselves with each other and don't hold back. They're also comfortable enough to express every emotion.
What I find so sweet about the writing is that Euijoo would look at him smiling from afar and get sad that he never smiled at her or for her and in the end he's cheesing the whole time. I think she won
what was euiji thinking?? why would his teacher go to a date with his minor student lmaooo
Hah like her just running with the “are you free Saturday” as if he asked her out
Second hand embarrassment omg
But yeah like what are we thinking?? Why on earth would ur teacher respond “YES PLEASE LETS DATE” especially while he’s still your teacher and you’re still a minor
Like even her best friend was like you need to confess… girl no that’s terrible advice With literally anyone else it works but not with your math teacher but whatever it aids in the ridiculous comedy. I found her confession so funny. if someone confessed to me like I think I’d actually find it so adorable like what a creative way to express your feelings.
He actually answered that his response is what he said 10 years ago...what did he say? I didnt catch anything…
He said his answer to her absolute value problem was the promise they made ten years ago. She was crying bc she did bad on a math test and he taught her and she said she’d show him her full 100% next time they met. Lol but she was at 4/100 when she met him again. So essentially she’s the reason why he aspired to be a teacher, and influenced who he is. She’s just special to him.
