I am curious about the real Shin Seori. Where did her soul go?
I think it's more so that Shin Seori is Kang Dan shim but in present time .... like they're the same soul, and her past life essentially "woke up" maybe
Can I be honest... I wasn't too fond of the ML before this drama. I never disliked him, I just didn’t care for him. But he’s such a gem of an actor. He uses every muscle in his face and portrays this character so naturally. That ending scene in episode 9 was insane. Going through multiple emotions in such a short time isn’t easy, and he did it seamlessly. I’m a fan now, fr... LJY is amazing as well of course, we already know that. However, I think this drama is definitely where Heo Nam Jun is getting his flowers.
I think it's very intuitive for their characters to argue. Two alphas LOL ... but I think it's also not a bad thing bc they are entirely themselves with each other and don't hold back. They're also comfortable enough to express every emotion.
What I find so sweet about the writing is that Euijoo would look at him smiling from afar and get sad that he never smiled at her or for her and in the end he's cheesing the whole time. I think she won
what was euiji thinking?? why would his teacher go to a date with his minor student lmaooo
Hah like her just running with the “are you free Saturday” as if he asked her out
Second hand embarrassment omg
But yeah like what are we thinking?? Why on earth would ur teacher respond “YES PLEASE LETS DATE” especially while he’s still your teacher and you’re still a minor
Like even her best friend was like you need to confess… girl no that’s terrible advice With literally anyone else it works but not with your math teacher but whatever it aids in the ridiculous comedy. I found her confession so funny. if someone confessed to me like I think I’d actually find it so adorable like what a creative way to express your feelings.
He actually answered that his response is what he said 10 years ago...what did he say? I didnt catch anything…
He said his answer to her absolute value problem was the promise they made ten years ago. She was crying bc she did bad on a math test and he taught her and she said she’d show him her full 100% next time they met. Lol but she was at 4/100 when she met him again. So essentially she’s the reason why he aspired to be a teacher, and influenced who he is. She’s just special to him.
I think it's pretty simple and obvious as to where they stand with each other. He is not saying "no" .... the other girl he was very direct, and he is usually very direct so him to not be saying anything to her is a pretty obvious answer. Not necessarily "yes let's be together forever and ever" but its mutual admiration and with an open ending it leaves room to grow. The writer and director can't be outwardly putting them into a relationship that would be absurd. She's also acting so jealous which is so funny but he doesn't say anything he's just listening and laughing. Very show not tell. The first snow symbolism goes hard too....HA
See the thing is I wouldn't mind them having a time jump and then reconnecting later once she's not a kid. Right now her liking her teacher is majorly because he makes her feel safe enough to be vulnerable and has shown himself to be dependable. So yes her affection towards him at this stage is not really romantic it's admiration and respect.
But I will say.... bruh they have good chemistry on camera, both synergistically and then just the way they bounce off of one another in scenes, it's very fluid and natural. Even the comedy is so naturally funny which is refreshing because there's such a lack of that in shows these days.
Absolute value is just a distance from 0...sooo it's always a positive ...soooooo who knows ....
I’m kinda shocked how bad it is. And it gets such good ratings.
I mean I think the ratings make sense given the cast and the material. They're great actors and it's monarchy in modern day so it's fun to watch. It's crazy though how a lot of us get flamed for voicing an opinion that may not be popular on a MERE drama! 😆
When you have nothing to say, claim that there is a lack of chemistry or indeed too much chemistry between the…
Hmm okay, I hear you… I’m one of the infamous “lack of chemistry” people over here. What can I say? I’m addicted to the rush 🙂↕️ I do agree with you that genuine romance grows gradually, and in real life, that’s usually what lasts longer than a fleeting three months of fire. For me personally, though, “chemistry” isn’t just pure passion. It’s more about the tension, not in a suggestive way, that you feel when two characters are on screen together. Of course, that’s subjective and varies from viewer to viewer. Some people pick up on it, some don’t. But that’s what makes dramas interesting. They’re there to be revisited. Some shows, it took me a few rewatches to fully appreciate them. I guess some stories don’t hit immediately, they pique our curiosity first, then grow on us with time. Also, you write so poeticallyyyy
No one gets a prize for suffering to the end of something . I genuinely don't understand you guys..Why stay with…
I like the actors and want to give it a fair chance. People can continue watching out of curiosity, for the cast, for the story, or in the hope that their perspective changes. That still doesn’t mean they can’t say what isn’t working for them at a given moment. Watching something and critiquing it aren’t mutually exclusive 😆

?? It’s never that serious, it’s just my opinion. I don’t get why criticism gets labeled as “complaining.” I’m literally just saying the chemistry isn’t doing it for me. This is a public forum where people can like it, dislike it, or feel somewhere in between. Like… chill out lmao
i'm forcing myself to finish this bc i like iu and byeon wooseok, but they have 0 chemistry and the story isn't…
yeah same... they just don't have a spark between them like in lovely runner there's a spark there... in WLGYT she had chemistry with all three of her male leads I think the story is okay I just find it a little over the top
Ok THANK GOD there's no REAL romance between them. I feel like if there was it would've become icky as hell. BESIDES I think pure romance dramas themselves are best right up until the leads get to together and then they're lovey, gross, and boring.
To people who are disappointed ....LOL I mean Melancholia exists... as does AO3 so knock yourself out
There's ofc still elements of romance regardless in the drama especially with her crush and her BL because that's the point. It's youthful and coming of age. Lowkey though, director needs to explain that Pythagoras line he said while they were at the cross walk 🤨 If someone told me they're going to try and understand me like an irrational number... I'd think about it for months
I think I said this before, but he definitely has to know her from before, and it's kdrama so past connection is inevitable to some degree ...
Am I crazy or do they have zero chemistry... like both actors are doing their part and they're great but I can't bring myself to really sit down and watch it cuz it looks almost forced between them He has wayyy more chemistry with the other lady
