I think they are leaning towards creating more romcoms. It might be a budget thing or an attempt to maximize viewership.

Interesting, you might be right on the detective not being there. This kind of show is right up my alley too, I love guessing and coming up with theories. Though I wonder if using a lie detector would not quickly resolve the mystery... From the trailers they seemed to go to extreme lengths -- looks like drowning her to make relive her trauma(?) to force the truth out of her. Or it might be a visual depiction of hypnosis? Either way I'm looking forward to the psychological parts of the show.

Very solid two episodes. I'm intrigued and enjoy the philosophical theme.

By ep 2, I see this will probably be more of an investigative crime drama than a law drama.
