There’s something almost refreshing about watching this kdrama. I don’t typically watch historical kdramas and I’ve been a drama slump for awhile and I decided to watch this after seeing an edit. This was actually entertaining and I’m excited for more episodes
This is the type of show you watch when you are bored and need something to watch. i liked the family and romance moments especially since I feel like we do not see a lot of father/daughter combo in kdramas.
2 episodes in and I don’t think this show is for me. I wanted to get into it but idk the comedy is a little over the top for me. the ml has a nice voice though
Why are they so obsessed with childhood connection/destiny in kdramas? A kid you knew in childhood may grow into…
this is the one of the main reasons why I couldn’t get into this show. that trope is recycled so much that it gets boring like switch it up. we don’t need childhood friends to lovers/connections in every show.
ok after episode 11 this show literally turns into a pyschological thriller but I guess it all worked in the end. some parts felt like they were dragging the plot and it didn’t really connect with the story but overall it was a pretty good watch.
The first couple of episodes were so interesting then the middle got boring. I basically watched on 1.25x speed to get passed the boring parts. After the main couple got together i got bored of them and became more interested in the mystery and daughters life which honestly kept me watching this show. The enemies to lovers was so much more interesting in the beginning and they should have kept it to the end. Some things at least to me seemed a little forced or shouldn’t have happened but other than that the show was ok.
