I am so glad this drama is over. Maybe my expectations were too high, because I thought it was going to be a historical drama from a different perspective being that they are using guns. However, it ended up being the same draggy, lame political segeuk drama. The only difference is that they use guns instead of swords. The writing is typical and there is nothing new to see here. If you like this genre, then you would probably like it more than me. The ending is the best part...that is where they should have started the story. LOL As much as I love Lee Joon Ki, he could not save this boring drama. It is no Iljimae for sure. Of course, LJK is a great actor and played his role as Yoon Kang to the best of his ability. Nam Sang Mi was ok as Soo In, but she also didn't have much to work with. I actually thought Yoo Oh Sung had the best story line as Choi Won Shin even though he was the "bad guy". It seems like he was the bad guy due to circumstances. I really wished that the story had led him to gang up with Yoon Kang at the end to destroy them all. Oh well. The other actors are fine. The music is pretty good. I don't recommend this drama, but if you like segeuk dramas, then you may enjoy it more than me.
