I had to force myself to finish the 1st episode!....... Yet I continued....why?????
This show is very, very, very, slow.... 1/2 way thru drama and they have just started to notice each other...
Boring writing, and very bad acting... and no chemistry at all for main couple...
The lead actor seems fine, handsome and appealing on screen.... He's the only one!
The lead actress is so very annoying!... ..... She can not act at all....... ...... She is very 'fake'..... and her face has so much botox and plastic surgeries, it is completely expressionless!.....
Plus, sorry to say this, I find her very unattractive...... everything : her dull personality..... her plain face..... her monotone voice..... her lanky body w/ no curves .... .....
but worst of all ... is her acting! :P
..... I'm dropping it ...... nothing interesting ...it is just torture.
Too bad, b/c I liked the plot line and the 2 lead male actors were OK.
If Chen Bo-Lin was not in it playing Ling Jie, I would not have liked it much.... He was so adorable and funny and the screen lit up w/ energy , whenever he showed up....
Joe Chen also was super cute... But a bit overacting in the beginning, too childish or stupid.... .....
They had amazing chemistry, their interactions looked real and improvised.
My first time seeing Chen Bo-Lin.... I am now a huge fan.... He is very talented and such magnetism on screen!
The drama is OK, normal, entertaining... ... I liked the "Modern" idea of them living together as a group... Good characters and good actors.... .....
It could have used a bit more tension b/w the 2 leading guys - their interactions were fun..... Also, a bit more tension among the second couple and their work in last few episodes would have brought more excitement to the mundane.
Chen Bo Lin really made this drama glow.... I love Hu Ge, but here he was just eyecandy.
The way she shows off her lanky body w/ exposed belly and the shortest shorts -
I swear I saw 3 in. of her "Cheeks" in the orange shorts when she stood up (ep 5 or 6).....
Mwaahhaaahhaa .... the only entertaining part of the series!... XD
Do they allow that in Chinese dramas? I thought I was watching European TV or cable. ;)
where can i watch his movies.just watched Guns and talks.can't find MOTHER/Friends
it's a year later...But if you r still looking:
"Friends 2002" mini-drama on : Drama.net, or GoodDrama
"Mother" movie: GoodDrama,. I saw it on Netflix, better in HD.
I completely agree with you about Yoon Eun Hye being the upgraded version of PSH. When ever I see PSH in something…
I agree w/ you about Park Shin-Hye.....I especially hate her whining and crying all the time.... the worst is when she acts cutsie....
NO Comparrisson b/w PSH and Yoon Eun-Hye.... completely different!...
I find Yoon Eun-Hye very daring, like she exposes herself completely when acting.... She makes all her roles very appealing, no matter how bad the drama is....
Also, she is very funny....personally I don't find her face very pretty, I prefer she wear some make-up... but she is ADORABLE...
Since this article is from Apr 2014 ... I must say, neither Lee Min-Ho ....nor his "eternal enemy" (as u call him) Jang Gun-Suk should be on the list.... .....neither had a great drama this year ("Heirs" fever is dying fast) and neither did a great job acting in them.
Kim Woo-Bin should have been there!.....
He has burst on to the scene w/ his powerful acting .... He steals every scene he's in .... even from Jang Dong-Gun ("A.G.D.")..... among his generation, he's the most in demand by film directors.
I don't find him handsome ...... What I like is his energy and presence on screen! and 2013 is his breakthrough year!...He's very popular now .
I'm watching The Princess' Man which is really good but I feel really sad that I didn't watch it earlier before…
Don't be sad....He was framed....
The girl dropped her case after her text messages were made public and her friend/eyewitness said the girl was lying.... plus CCTV and other evidence...
Most Likely the CEO of his ex-agency (Eyagy Ent.) set it up b/c PSH refused to renew his contract w/ him for 2013..... and PSH was the Biggest money-maker there, the other actors in that agency don't even come close....
That CEO is now head of the ethics committee for CEMA (Corean Ent. Mngnt Agency), but he and his committee are now being investigated for fraud......
So Park Si-Hoo has been Proven INNOCENT..... he has payed a heavy price nonetheless...
So enjoy "The Princess' Man" b/c it is one of the best made K-Dramas and has an epic Love Story w/ great acting/directing/writing etc....
Hyun Bin is the BEST kisser....hands down....
Best example is from his movie "Late Autumn" w/ Tang Wei......Last Kiss scene...
About 3mins long!...... www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfLcYHS0Y6k
IMO, Ariel Lin is just cute.... no more.... her body is like a 12 y.o. boy and her face is not beautiful.... pretty and cute, yes!...
She's likable and a good actress... but we are talking outer beauty as a Woman....
Se-Ryung (Moon Chae-Won) in "The Princess' Man"..... is the 'Ultimate Heroine'.....
She is intelligent, courageous, adventurous, loyal and willing to risk her life for what she believes in....
She defied the most evil villain - her father ....displayed 'heroic courage' to stand up for what is right and to fight for her Man....
Simply the best HEROINE of any drama ......
Great actor!.... Very handsome......and lots of Charm -
Subtle Expressions relay so much of his inner emotions and thoughts...
and he gives each character individual mannerisms, etc... (whether he's playing an obsessive control-freak or a playful playboy) ... he transforms completely!
I'm assuming Tong Hua is just stamping her name on this, like she did with Perfect Couple, otherwise the plot…
Mulgogi, Thanx for the referrals.... and Yes! Please send links via PM...
I am totally hooked on C-Dramas now... and taking long break from K-Dramas.....
It started recently, after watching "Summer's Desire" ... so different than K-dramas.... It's not all black or white, and no 'Idealism'...
So I pursued all dramas w/ Peter Ho, then Alec Su, got to all the historical dramas and Lui Shi Shi..... and now Lau Hawick.....
I love the historical dramas, and follow up by reading about the figures....
Also, although many criticise C-dramas for the CGI, etc... I noticed that they are innovative in using camera angles, very alluring images....
I am very impressed..... and definitely would like to read the translated novels .... I don't think I ever had that urge w/ any K-drama.
