Thought this was another In a class of her own, so I wasnt that interested. However, I gave it a try and Im pretty surprised. The FL is very convincing and it's pretty funny even if it isnt classified as a comedy.

The trailer looked interesting and serious for the first 5 seconds. Then it happens to be another romcom, it has some In a class of her own vibes. Idk about this..

The 2nd installment from 2014 is considered not so good and instead you could watch the one from 2006, unless you dont like older dramas. You could even watch the installments seperately tbh, at most there will be just a couple of small references. Each installment takes place in another generation, so no big deal to the story.

Forced unfunny comedy and this has almost nothing to do with the main story. Pretty much a waste of time.

I just needed this funny and not so serious movie.

I bet Disney Mulan is gonna be nothing compared to this masterpiece. But seriously though, this was just okayish till halfway in. Like the 2009 version much more.

These three are all different adaptations of the same universe, so it doesnt matter. Fight break sphere is the best out of the three imo.

Somehow Tang Fan forgot Li Zilong had the other half of the (incomplete) Abundant Waves from Princess Gu'an. Instead he thought it was from Western Depot, alright then. Also the Abundant Waves use was pretty lame, Li Zilong did all that scheming to get all of them for literally nothing.

Yea, not worth watching. A cliché plot that would've been alright 15 years ago. They used all of their budget on vfx.

I think it should've been already clear he likes Pei Jing at that point and he only kept the marriage proposal for his weird reason to always follow etiquette no matter what.

The condor heroes trilogy. Legend of the condor heroes 2017, Heavenly sword and dragon saber 2019 (and probably the 2nd installment that comes out later this year) I think are the closest thing to this. And they're both very good.

Theres basically no news about a 2nd season (on weibo). There is a movie version coming though later this year apparently, but idk.

Don't know if I should just watch this, or just keep waiting for the new remake.
