I just finished Spring Over Phoenix Pond and he looked so familiar. Then upon checking did I realized that I first saw him as a supporting character in Love Beyond the Grave! I wish to see him more in romance roles as a villain turned lover boy cuz he was sooooo fine in Spring Over Phoenix Pond! Looking forward to more shows! Jia You!!!

watched from 08/22-08/23/2026 This is the first drama i saw after Pursuit of Jade cuz I couldn't get enough of Deng Wei. I also havent seen this FL in a while since her supporting character in Immortal Samsara. I am in awe at how her beauty blossomed over time and how great her eyes acted each scene. She ate it up and left no crumbs! This was a classic reincarnation trope where the FL was abused in the past life and she was reborn to be more wiser. This was an easy watch and it kept me engaged. I felt bad for the emperor for missing his lover. On the other hand, the villains met their end in a satisfying way. I look forward to more dramas like this that have a great pacing.
I watched this from 07/10/2026 to 08/22/2026 Hands down the best cdrama of 2026! Marquis Wu'an and Flower General Fan Changyu for the win! I love the stories of Qi Min, Qianqian and Li Huai'an. It shows a butcher's daughter turned general and her rise along with her matrilocal husband who happens to be the revered Marquis. This is my first drama of ZLH where he is the ML and he did not disappoint! I also liked the 2nd couple Gongsun and the Crown Princess. Chancellor Wei, Xie Zheng's uncle, had a tragic love story. I liked the Pig Slaughtering Gang of Chang Yu. I liked Xigu Alley in Lin'an and how comforting it was. Grand Tutor was a great father figure and so were the Zhao couple. Yu Bao'er is so cute promising the whole realm as bride price for Fan Changning. I wish there were more episodes or a season 2 to see more of the alternate universe had the massacre from 17 years ago did not occur. Qi Min, ahhh, Qi Min, I liked you with silver hair but I prefered his attitude in the last 8 minutes of the show. I am so glad to have seen this masterpiece and I hope to re-watch it again.

I watched this from May 13 - July 10, 2026 | Rate: 9.5/10 My first cdrama i completed of Dilireba and Arthur Chen. The story of He Simu, sovereign of Spirits and a celebrated general Duan Shunxi (aka Seventeen who reclaimed the 17 prefectures of Liang from the Chong) was a touching story of devotion where he gave her his 5 senses. I took 0.5 off because the story was a bit slow and lacked skinship/kissing scenes. The wedding occured on ep 40 which was the last one. The bonus episode 41 reunited them and I wish they would at least hug. Nevertheless, this was a hauntingly beautiful adventure of a romance. One can only dream to have a man sacrifice the way Duan did for Simu. For the secondary couple Fang and Duan Jingyu, I wish they were given more time together huhuhu. They only met 5 times but it was so touching. The other couple was Lady Jiang Ai and Bai Sanxing should have been given more screen time as I was hoping to see romance. Yan Ke was such a good villain. His obsession drew him to be evil as he pinned for Simu for 300 years, however Yan Ke killed her father and his ambition was unsatiable. I wish to see Miles Wei's other works as an ML. Si Mu made Chenying the new Sovereign and tied up loose ends before becoming a mortal. I just really wished the show did not dwell too much on the warfare and politics. It is a romance drama for crying out loud. But the writing was exceptional. I cried the last episodes. I wish we got to see more romance!!!!

I honestly agree. I watched EP 1 and it's hard to wrap my head around her being the topnothcer in school with her childish mentality. She speaks over people, doesn't listen, assumes too much and idk if she is written to be a little AU TIS TIC but it's the vibe I'm getting. Her character reminded me of Extraordinary Attorney Woo (but Woo Young-woo is waaaaay more articulate than her fr). I saw the trailer and I thought I'd give it a shot. It was MY bad I thought Philippine drama could elevate. It is such wasted potential. I only wanted to see more of Joseph Marco cuz he has been my crush since childhood.
