I am kind of over main characters who screw others over because they believe themselves to be right or morally…
People are flawed in life, and the point is that Jeongnyeon is stubborn and driven by a madness that consumes her. Not just her, all the characters have their insecurities in this show.

i think the ratings were 8.5/+ but after taeri won the best actress award (i assume it's the title of the award…
IU fans were upset that KTR won instead of her so they bombed the ratings. Dumb.

Arguably the most perfect kdrama I have ever seen. Love all the characters, but I have a crush on Moon Okgyeong. Kim Tae-ri's acting abilities are unbelievable - I couldn't even believe this was the same person who played Go Ae-shin and Na Hee-do. Her versatility needs to be studied, how she manages to transform herself and blend into the character she plays is just out of this world.

Title The Guest Spoiler
So in the end Park Hong Ju gets off scot free?
Pretty accurate with real life though. How many people, especially powerful people, are actually punished for the things they do?

Him being alive felt like a failed seal. The moment he stabbed his eye, I believed he won't come back alive then…
On Namuwiki it says that Gil-young placing her hand in front of his eye when he stabbed it prevented it from being fatal.

Title The Guest Spoiler
The detective was honestly one of the worst-written characters I’ve seen in a drama. She’s stubborn as a mule,…
Which victim's death did she cause? Like the other two characters she is flawed. All of them had their dumb moments, with Hwa-pyung running off wildly without thinking of the consequences while chasing after his father and Choi Yoon refusing to tell either of them about the curse on him and stupidly doubting Hwa-pyung while ignoring the obvious signs that Priest Yang was possessed. Given the things they have been through, you can't even blame them.

She was the one who uncovered so many important things and saved their a**es at many points.

Title The Guest
They found the body in yard(?) and should have burned it. In the beginning they burned the bird and it worked.…
If I had lived my entire life as a rationalist and someone suddenly told me about supernatural stuff and the wild things that Hwa-pyung was saying even I would not believe them either, especially if I was already suffering from guilt and childhood trauma. She still acted on the things he told her and took him seriously despite not believing him.

This is one of my favorite kdrama. I'm desperately looking for similar ones vibe and theme wise with a dark spirit,…
Revenant is the closest you will get, with an awesome trio as well.

Kang Gil Yeong is the best, no notes!
She's too good. I love how she's so badass, and both impulsive and level headed depending on the situation. I just wish she'd had a happier ending, and they had at least showed her moving on and healing from her guilt regarding her mother's death. But overall love her.

Haven't watched S1, and am only watching this because I'm a fan of Jung Eun-chae but I don't understand why ppl are blaming the producers and makers for not bringing back the old FL when she herself chose not to. I mean it's not like they wronged her or anything. And the general norm when a character is removed from a show is to make minimal acknowledgement of it, do you expect them to sit in mourning? Given the setting is a police station and they are detectives, they have work to do and are probably used to bosses coming and going. And if you really cannot tolerate the show without the previous FL then just don't watch it. Why hate on it and waste your time

Exactly and the movie is classified under the erotic genre anyways. If you can't tolerate those scenes then why even watch it in the first place

To compare this disgrace with Soulmate is seriously peak levels of ignorance. Soulmate actually had a strong emotional core and a clear message, with the friendship and connection between the two female leads being the heart of the story. This, on the other hand, is just a bland, depressing story where the friendship literally turns non-existent in the second half and is ruined to give way to a boring and convoluted love triangle. In Soulmate, both the lead characters had their own strong and beautiful arcs whereas here one character is put down to elevate the other and neither really wind up in a satisfying way. Please don't watch this thinking it is similar to Soulmate.

Hard agree, the part where they seemed to blame her at the end for YR winding up in the hospital was so frustrating. Did they all forget that JH had willingly provided all her savings to help YR's mom in the beginning of the show? How was she even responsible for that, it's not like she asked for it to happen. And it was to protect YR that JH had stabbed the manager in the first place, making herself a target. It was frustrating to see literally no one acknowledge the sacrifice that JH made and to see her being treated terribly by pretty much everyone with the only exception being YS.

If Season 2 comes I want to see some insight into Haetsal's backstory, how she left her job and became a shaman, how she discovered her powers, and how she met Bang-ul. There's so much potential there they could even make a spinoff on that.

honestly, Ok Gyeong was right when she said she plays the same role over and over again, that's a fair point,…
It was fair for her to quit but it was not fair of Okgyeong to suddenly disappear after the first performance of the production and force the troupe to bear the debt of the cancellation of other performances. She could have finished performances of the play and then quit instead of just jumping ship

Shin Ye-eun's character becomes pretty likable by the end
