this drama is great (9/10 level) but it's getting a bit stressful bc I feel angry at the villagers and want them in jail. The cop son shouldn't get away with the actual murder attempt (car crash) but most likely the two rapists are going to walk free next week

ep 8 was finally what I expected from this drama from the beginning. The first 7 episodes were just kind of hollow and the humour and emotions were missing.

He didn't get any awards for Worst of Evil, although he should have (in my view also Sound of Magic and If You Wish Upon Me were very award-worthy) but it's buzz, popularity and money that counts these days, unfortunately I have no trust in those who decide on the awards anymore.

What you call erotic was actually rape (one woman drugged, one wife violently taken) or power play. If you ignore the sound effects, you can keep the fancy that it was erotic and art. But I don't think you actually watched this at all, since what you say is all theory and nothing corresponding to what was actually shown on screen.

it won't have another season. The ending is open, but that's purely satisfying in this drama. I would strongly recommend, this one leaves a lasting impression.

This is a commenting AND CRITICISM site and you don't get to say who is allowed to comment. I find Queen Woo incredibly bad for a multitude of reasons. It turns my stomach that it will get all the awards whilst really great k-dramas like Begins Youth and Like Flowers in the Sand will go unnoticed. Queen Woo is the ultimate failure in storytelling. All you get is violence, shock effects and 2 minute characters. I don't watch dramas for skipping, if I watch, I watch closely. This one is unique in a very bad way. I will def watch it until the end without skipping to see whether it really is the ultimate decadence or whether it can somehow redeem itself. A huge pile of money went into it, I want to see how it was used. Even though it's my conviction that huge budgets and quality are not in any way correlated. And if you're tempted to refer to GoT, I couldn't and wouldn't watch it. PPS: I became a Youku subscriber today. If you want something that is adventure, exciting to the max, high-end production and basically good for your soul, watch Escape From the Trilateral Slopes.
