For some 10 mins I was sure Dan Ho would say he can't be with Mo Eum bc he's gay. In fact that would have made more sense than this "I can't be with you - I want to be with you" behavior. I really don't dig the 2nd couple story arc, the parents' relationships are more fun.
ML looks exactly like Bae in Hyuk (and looks like he's portraying just as dry a persona as BIH in most of his roles). Rooting for 2ML Hong Jong Hyun and watching bc Lee Se Young -- although I ended up hating Park's Marriage Contract. This is only 6 eps, otherwise I'd drop after the first episode.
A very good noir crime / police drama. Not too violent or too gritty, although it touches dark themes. The police team's friendship is close to the "found family" trope, which I like always. The villains in this drama are not painted as purely bad characters, which I also appreciated. I almost wanted the main villain to be able to escape, bc we could always see the abused child in his eyes. The only thing I didn't like was the romance side plot, it was cringey. However, that didn't take too much time. The whole story arc was very logical and well written from start to finish.
Great start. Liking this a lot. Solid writing. Great acting. Ticklish funny. Perfect fit with my sense of humour. Just wish Kang San Jun was the ML. Him laughing his a** off at Eun Ho at the beach just to mislead, that was great.
Do you usually watch episodes during the day or in the evening? After all, we don't all have the same time zones.…
I feel the same, watching this belongs to the evening. It comes out 7pm, perfect timing. I watch a different drama (Meet Yourself) during lunch, 30 mins.
I keep reading "explicit" and "porn" without examples of what puts this drama over the line. Given how conservative…
we're talking about sex that is violent, rapey, abusive and degrading. I checked and you haven't even watched it. Somehow I can always tell. You can read the 1/10 reviews. People are jumping into this discussion based on pure ideology. "Sex" comes in many kinds.
