Ikr?? Who stands to benefit. They have released ep 11's synopsis as SE is supposed to have a "sad hunch" and there's supposed to be a surprise reveal. Mum is the obvious candidate but "sad hunch" makes me want to pick Sang Woo again since the mum abandoning SE wouldn't really be a surprise 🙈🙈🙈
The only people who could disappoint SE at this point would have to be his reporter friend, Sang Woo, and Yuri. Yuri would be a random character choice to turn evil. The reporter seems like to be character choice specifically created to show SE's hidden "human" side in the initial episodes, while SW like i mentioned earlier has enough motive to be evil (sending advanced apologies to SW in case he is innocent🙈🙈🙈)
Aside from the mum, who do you think it could be?

The wildest theory I could think of is that it was Sang Woo all along since he's the one who seems to be involved everywhere. (THEORY IS TOTALLY UNLIKELY BTW)!)
The fourth body is still going through DNA testing and the 3 other bodies were identified based on SW's word.
One thing they still haven't revealed is how did PDJ and the kidnapper crosspaths since it seems like the 2 never met in real life (nor did the kidnapper know that PDJ was working with SE). The only logical connection would be that they met eachother online.
We know that PDJ is a fan of SW 's vlog and the kidnapper is a fan of explosions and gore in general (which happens to be one of SW's top subjects covered in his vlog).
Since SW had a crush on HJ, what if SW orchestrated the whole thing so he can have HJ? Let's just say, maaaay be SW actually didn't run away as a kid as he claims but was the one who actually lured the boys to their deaths on purpose since he was in cahoots with the kidnapper even as a kid? As an adult, he could have figured out SE's secret, PDJ's secret, as well as figured out that the kidnapper survived and connect it to his past and somehow connect PDJ with the kidnapper anonymously taking advantage of his vlog so that he can destroy SE and have HJ all to himself? He did seem sad when the nun asked about his first love after all🙈

SE's mum and SW figured it out previously in ep 7 when they did the press release (SW didn't know that he was the real SE at the time but he knew the mask kid also had an eye colour mutation).
Heeju later figured it out in ep 9 when the Baek family secretary told her that one of the senior Baeks did a surgery to correct an eye colour mutation. Since it was a genetic mutation, Heeju figured out that the real son was the kidnapper.
What’s worse is I keep seeing people saying wtpr is a cheap copy of qot. Even calling our Baek saeon a copy…
I really don't get the comparison between the MLs. Aside from being married, they are not similar at all.
If anything, Sa Eon and Hong Hae In from QOT make a better comparison. Similarly Heeju and Baek HW from QOT make a better comparison if you haaave to compare characters.
It just proves that whoever who is making the comparison never even understood QOT in the first place since they can't even get the character comparison right🤦♀️

Hahaha YuRi is your usual hard core stan but is so bubbly, I feel like she'd be thrilled about Heeju and SE once they are safe since she knows how good both are as individuals (at least i hope so!).
I feel like we all misunderstood Yu Ri's character in the first episode. She wasn't being b!tchy but just has no filter🙈 Even I felt bad for looking down on her in the beginning🙈🙈🙈🙈
I'm pretty sure the reporter will directly get an answer on the hidden son from SE soon since he has been working with SE to uncover the truth for some time now.
I'm almost certain that SW figured out that the mask kid is the real son the moment SE said that he was a fake. He already knew 90% of what was going on and also knew that the mask kid was from an influential family living in Seoul. SW is sharp enough to see the whole picture based on Sa Eon's confession just like how In Ah and HJ figured out that if SE is fake then there should be a real SE out there.
