I'm currently watching Light Shop as well- it's taking every ounce of patience in me to stop myself from reading the webtoon to find out how it ends 🙈🙈🙈

He's a dimwit who is also a fool for love. It's a bit of a kdrama thrope where it's usually the most unexpected characters that have the most insight in certain things at times 🙂

It's possible the chief may have figured out HeeJoo is SE's wife? I mean he got to witness most of SE's interactions with HeeJoo. It was obvious something about her just pushed SE's buttons. And coincidentally, SE who usually is super stand offish-started to ask marrital advice from the chief. So he may have connected the dots?

He did have this soft knowing smile when SE made the hand heart.

He even scolded the team for gossiping during the hike when we already know that the chief loves to gossip too. He might have figured out SE's intensions and is just secretly supporting them?

If it helps, it looks like the script writer might have made some changes?

I kind of read the novel (skim read, skipping most of the thriller points) but even with the couple, there are quite a lot of changes. Nor do I recall reading about a twin. So hopefully they might have changed other plot lines too? (I really hope they have since i hate spoilers too but couldn't stop temptation)🤞

Park cannot be the son since he seems too young. If the real son storyline is true, then he too also has to be around 35 for the "switch" to work.

You are forgetting that he's an expert hostage negotiator. He's trained to mask his true emotions.

Plus he totally broke character during the second half of the call, continuously asking 406 anxiously to say something- if HeeJu wasn't in a lot of pain, she'd probably wonder why SE was acting out of character with 406.

How did they even notice the mole? There was barely 3 seconds wrth of footage 😮🙈

He was in a state of denial. The thought did cross his mind several times after he found out she can speak, but he kept saying "i must be crazy".

Rather than making the "kiss" the highlight of that scene, SE's silent confession and Heeju's comforting cuddle was the true highlight.

With In Ah, i think she's being sincere and does regret her past actions.

We need to remember that she too was a kid when she lost her brother, her hearing, and probably her mum too. She resented HJ's mum too. Perhaps she took the last 3 years to get help in order to move from her past?

I can't really imagine why else she would hve a hidden agenda to hurt HeeJu again🙈

We are forgetting the fact that In Ah too was a child when she lost her brother and her hearing (as well as her mum too). The way she greeted HJ's mum the first time also implies that she resented her father's choice to remarry.

While what she did to HJ was wrong, it's possible that during the last 3 years, she may have gotten the help she needed to move on from her past? She isn't inherently evil...just a girl with a sad past🫠

If it helps, in the novel, she fell into a hidden crevice that wasn't known by the rescue team. The flare was what helped them locate her

Probably yes- the trees would have slowed her crash. She's still critically injured but not as bad as it would have been if there weren't any obstacles

Exactly! Now that you mentioned it, it is interesting how he didn't warn them about the cat. Perhaps as a kid he just wanted to forget it and he may have gotten adopted shortly after?

And perhaps he didn't find out about the disappearances until he was an adult?

As much as I'm obsessed with SaJu, the mytersy subplot is getting really interestjng too 🙈

What i love about the drama is that we get everybody's POV.

Ep 1 was in HeeJu's POV so we saw Sa Eon as a cold controlling cocky man. But once you get to see his side more, the misunderstandings from both sides become more apparent🙈

Even In Ah's story- yes, she was cruel to keep quiet throughout HJ's suffering and even going so far as to use her as a bargaining chip to escape. But if you look at her pov, we get to see a young girl who'd already lost her mom, also lose her brother and hearing (along with her love for her piano based on the flashback) and is now at the mercy of her gold digging parasite of a step mother. She should have known better once she grew up but sadly it's not easy to outgrow trauma like that. 🫠

Exactly- since Sa Eon is a master negotiator even if he notices her slip ups, he knows how to react appropriately🙈
