Yes- in the original timeline it was implied that he was a high school dropout and a troubled teen. Even in the first time line it was indicated that he had a strained relationship with his father.

While it was never confirmed what happened to Taesung later in life in the OG timeline, it's safe to assume that if he didn't meet Sol, his life wouldn't have been as good as it is in the last timeline.

PS: he doesn't end up heart broken either since the timeline changed! His character arc was about self development and not romance really.

What I love about WTPR is that they don't just focus on the past but rather "what will they do in the future?". Their past actions are tangled with their trauma but they don't use their trauma as an excuse to continue these actions once they know what.they are doing is wrong.

In a world of Red Flags that get way more love than they deserve and who take way too long to make mediocre changes, Sa Eon started to take initiative from the moment the calls started subconsciously.

Even asking Mr Kang for marital advice wasn't that difficult eventhough we know that SE doesn't usually have a lot of patience with Mr Kang.

Once he truly realized his mistakes, he didn't have the usual kdrama moment of denial but instead immediately took action so he can stop hurting HeeJu.

His mistake was misunderstanding HeeJu's silence as her being comfortable instead of suffocating. But what's good about him is that he is willing to learn from his mistakes.

Mr Kang certainly would be an interesting villain ngl - from being that irritating co-worker to Love guru is one way of winning SE's trust but I'm not sure since currently his role is fulfilling the standard Kdrama comic relief potion of the drama as well🙈

Figuring out HJ is SE's wife is also not that difficult if you look at Kang's pov since Sa Eon was indirectly applying whay Kang adviced him on (plus he has been seeing their sparks from the moment HJ did the interview).

One thing I noticed about Mr Kang after rewatching the recent episodes is that he doesn't have a filter just like SE's reporter friend. For somebody who finds silence peaceful, it's interesting how he shares most of his private burdens with people who he shows annoyance outwards but secretly trusts/ respects enough. Do you think this could have any connection?

I'm not sure about the contract and marriage certificate plot twist you mentioned since logically speaking they should have anyway signed the marriage certificate to make the marriage official infront of the family. The agreement is just a custom version of a Pre-nup which is usually signed in advance (at least that's how i understood it).
In the wedding flashback, SE informed HJ that the wedding was switched to a private event so I'm assuming they later had the official wedding ceremony with only the family involved.

Did you notice how in ep 1, Mr Kang praised Park when he instantly memorised 406's contact number? Mr Kang said "former reporters are so impressive". One of the other team members also mentioned that SE personally selected Park to join his team too (or something similar to that). It's interesting how Park has been following Sa Eon's footsteps so diligently for such a long period of time. Either he's a fan like Yuri or he's upto something right? 🙈

Losing Heeju isn't the kidnapper's end game (though honestly if HJ did die, that would have probably killed SE too 🥲). The kidnapper probably has more plans to destroy Sa Eon so he needs his moles to stay on standby? Idk...WTPR is making me over analyze i guess with all the theories 🤣🤣🤣

The son isn't mentally stable. All he probably sees is that Sa Eon stole his life (and Sa Eon being a big deal in South Korea doesn't help his stuation either).

Based on Sa Eon's recurring nightmares (and the SML's mystery plot with the orphanage) there might be a chance that the real son may have known Sa Eon as a kid? Or at least caught a glimpse of him?

I think he finally pieced everything about the misunderstanding in last night's episode when Ji Hye tried to confess to him aabout what she did in the past.

Don't think it's the age gap that's bothering him. Seems like he has a secret that might not be accepted by the society/ could affect his potential significant other.

(His behavior reminds me of One Spring Night and the second couple from Love Next Door for some reason)
