At the moment, under no circumstance does she want to lose her job. She has to pay her mother’s hospital bill and save the house. A petty team leader is nothing compared to that.

Additionally, Da Rim still doesn’t know just how far she can trust him yet. We know that he would do anything for her but she doesn’t know this(as of ep 4, she’s beginning to see his more reasonable side but I feel ep 5 will kind of mess with her trust in him again for abit).
Even if JH hates her for cheating, he can’t really terminate her for it (legally he can’t since it would be under wrongful termination and more importantly he is too ashamed to let anybody know about it), which is why he kept trying to give her work that could give him an excuse to fire her. By confessing the truth, in Da Rim’s POV, JH will definitely have a good excuse to fire her.

She will eventually confess the truth once she knows for sure she can trust him (or rather he would probably figure out the truth first) but right now is not the time.

I feel like there’s more to it. The company’s image depends on “wholesome family values”. I highly doubt the father would have accepted a divorce/ separation and instead to save the company from such a huge scandal he would have forced her to just live with it.

Being forced to be with a man who shattered your trust and being forced to share the same roof with the proof of his infidelity (i.e. the step daughter- specially someone clearly who has her own agenda to protect herself even if it means to hurt the others) would have eventually made her lose her edge. Yes, she could have been more strong for JH, but honestly unless you are in her shoes, it’s really difficult to imagine how you can cope with such a tormented life in the long run.🫣

What the mother did was wrong but honestly how would you feel if you found out your whole marriage was a lie? Betrayal could blind and hurt even the strongest person so it’s difficult to judge her. She messed up and unfortunately JH had to face the brunt of it.

AYTO- definitely push through ep 1. Even I d8dj't like it eaither. Something about the editing didn't agree with me but I was bored and curious so managed to push through. The enemies to lovers thrope with a sprinkle of amnesia and ignorance is handled quite well and it helped that the SML wasn't a huge delusional tool compared to some of other recent delulu DiDis (i think I've got ptsd after watching back to back delusional SMLs who lose their mind over kind hearted disinterested FLs lately so this guy's regret feels more tame in comparison).

Jdramas and subs are the bane of my existance. It feels like I've been watching Anpan since the beginning of this year since the subs take time (no hate to the subber since they've done an amazing job- i'm just too greedy and pacing myself has been an interesting experiment)🙈

They lived upto the name. Ep 1 will rise your dopamine levels but by mid ep 2, you'll probably need to call animal control since your inner butterflies will probably go berserk 😉🙈

They are childhood besties. She protected him when they were kids so he is still grateful about it. Their personalities probably do not have the magnetism needed to form a romance I guess (fortunately).

They are eachother's cheerleaders and support systems- kind of similar to the besties in Our Unwritten Seoul (except of course the SML here is not gay).

Besides the SML still hasn't moved on completely from his situation with Jun's mum (he was prickly with the SFL but was even worse after she shpwed him the photograph). He needs closure before he could fall for somebody else.
