during the last ep, who's the woman who washed the rice in the kitchen?
She’s another complicit bystander who will be stuck in an endless cycle of “what ifs”. If only she had reported the husband when she initially noticed the DV, ES wouldn’t have been forced into murder nor would the security guy have gotten caught into it. Specially since she too is a mother to a daughter, she cannot ignore her role in all of this (or at least that’s what I hope she feels at least given how she sobbed while cleaning the rice).
ugh this was excellent. Although I have to admit I found myself rooting hard for the empress. She was so kind…
Her arc (and even the employer’s) was so refreshing ngl. I half expected them to have a disappointing ending since it’s pretty much like a curse how at least one likable support character has to die/ get gravely injured. 🙈
In the novel, it was different. Sibling rivalry was also there, and it was mentioned that he fought alongside…
Oooh this is so interesting and unexpected! Funny enough I thought for a hot minute that the brother could be the secret chief guy since the hidden character was introduced towards the end and the final betrayal / twist being someone close to the ML felt perfect for this genre 🙈
I hope that person that said they wished Asahi was prettier has seen that, he was just lacking in confidence in…
It’s ironic how somebody thought he looked subpar while all I could think of throughout this episode was how Asahi’s appearance is so refreshing. He looks so realistic as a student- and they didn’t even try to downgrade him with an awful wig. Even his glow up looked so natural instead of being over the top👏
I'm kinda confused, but why was minato mad at shizuma again ?
I feel like Minato low key transferred his “brother complex” to Shizu because of his loving but borderline “elder brother” treatment. Minato let his guard down against his better judgement. Now he’s salty that the first guy he was willing to trust was actually a 💩 (in his pov at least).
Yi tianyu's obsessiveness plot towards FL at the end was so unnecessary and unusual. His character has never been…
The problem was that since their HS days, all his kind actions had hidden expectations. Everything was done with the expectation that the FL would eventually choose him. If he never found out about the alternate reality where he actually got to date her, he probably wouldn't have been this crazy.
Knowing that there's a version of him out there who got to be with her for years/ the reason why FL wouldn't even give him a chance was because of her trauma with his other version, it probably was too much for him to handle? In his POV, he was "punished " for something out of his control. Since he put in so many years to win her, he refused to accept this "unfair punishment".
but they could've at least let us know that he was also in the dream with her and he knew also, but they justadd…
The smile says it all since if the ML didn't share her memories, he wouldn't have smiled so warmly at her/ held her hand.
I mean the FL hated his original timeline's guts since he had zero chill. If he didn't remember their experience, he would at the very least look uncomfortable since their last interaction was her quitting/ their shared near death experience.
I really enjoyed this drama, best part was there was no evil character. Even the bad cousin was not that bad. My…
I love how realistic her character was too! She should feel envy and disappointment considering how much effort she put but she didn't try to sabotage her rival ❤️
im confuse with the comments... so the main leads get together? is there romance between them?
It's a jdrama so the romance is quite similar to shojo romcom jdramas (with a sprinkling of healing as well).
Kind of like how Usagi and Arisu's romance is in AIB? They aren't passionate with eachother but you can feel their care (even when they are in denial).
The triangle isn't also really a triangle since the SML always makes it clear how much he ships the MC (except for one drunk misunderstanding).
The fact that the kid low key knows that Minato is trying to "honeytrap" a straight guy but he has no idea it's actually his brother 😹
(Totally wasn’t expecting that twist ngl😂)

The fact that he just couldn't comprehend liking somebody just because they make you happy is astonishing 🤦♀️
It can be a bit creepy at first but you get used to it after a few episodes.
Just gotta wait i guess 😆
Thursday feels so far away and the life of a pirate is so so.....tempting 🫠
I watched Mare years ago and carelessly kept Orange for later. By the time I wanted to watch it, they'd removed it🙈
