The girl: “Eun Bongi, you have a brain” 🤡 “use your brain”. And proceeds not to use it.

🙄😒

What a stupid person we are being sold to take seriously. Double black belt in taekwondo and a barred lawyer. That’s what we have to believe as important data points about her. 🙄

Can she leave the guy alone for a bit - let him catch his breath just a little. She lives in house, works in his house. Let him be by himself for a minute, girl. God! She’s insufferable

How convenient to have a childhood connection 😒 how convenient to have your parents memorialised in the same columbariums. It’s a drama of convenience. The girl keeps staying at her boss’s place for convenience. The bad guy has also found work with them. The mother in law’s work at the same pizza joint (one as an owner, the other as a service representative). How very convenient.

She even plays with stuffed toys before bed time 🙄😕😟

Serious question: are Korean girls into pulling each other’s hair often during an argument. It’s like a common visual they show in the K-dramas. lol

The lady who’s killed her husband (allegedly) in episode 10 looks like the middle aged female version of Kim Jung-hyun (Mr. Queen ML). Not even joking 😂

This guy has the same look in all the 4 dramas I have come across via TikTok or InstaReels 😂 . Since the Korean audiences love processed food (his work) so much and keep seal clapping his unimaginative acting choices one after another, I wonder, doesn’t he ever get tired of doing the “same, same. But different. But still same” projects and avatars 😒 doesn’t his creative urge of an artist tell him to try different things and experiment with a different look? 😏

Not only does the girl lack professionalism and a spine but she also lacks intelligence.

We started the show with her being a taekwondo champ - who can beat people or twist arms - not a shrinking violet kinda girl who is smart and quick on her feet who studies hard cos she wants to become a lawyer cos she wants to help her mom out.

That all vanishes right after her internship ends (I forgot what episode mark it was but anyway). Now this girl is dumb as a mule. The cases she works on, she’s just tagging the ML and exhibiting zero intelligence. She just goes along to trip and stumble and pout and whine and aegyo. Rest of the brains behind the operations are the men in the room. Suddenly she’s cowering and scared at the slightest- girl forgot taekwondo as well. Her ambitions to help her mother are gone. She is fine boarding at her boss’s place for free, day and night having wet dreams and desires about a man who first rejected her (because the man had genuine reasons). But after he came clean, she is now committed to reject cos she wants to move on and not make it complicated.

Dumb rot. The FL’s role is one dimensional. It’s like a talking cardboard cutout (no growth till episode 9).

She lacks basic instincts and common sense even. Even the cases she’s taking, she isn’t showing any talent for being a competent lawyer. I repeat, dumb rot.

And then I ask, how can men get attracted to low IQ females ? Well let me rephrase. How can any human get attracted to another human who exhibits an IQ lower than a parrot ? I know deeply insecure and/or jaded men want that. It’s their kink cos a woman with brains will rattle their soul too much. So instead of going to therapy, they become cradle robbers or tumblr girls connoisseurs. I digress. 😒🙄 I question my choices in life sometimes 💀

Any self respecting girl would make living arrangements that reflected similar virtue and character. 😒

This girl babbles “ne, ne,ne” like a broken record 🙄

My theory is, I think Baek KiTae will kill his brother either by mistake or deliberately or he will be the cause of his brother’s death indirectly. I have a feeling about this 🙊

Also, I just have to say… Dohwan Woo holds his own beautifully with such senior actors. He is unmissable in season 1. Although his screen time probably in all of s1 is hardly 30 minutes max. But he holds his own with such gravitas. His character didn’t have much lines in S1 but you couldn’t miss a single inflection of his inner conflict from the moment he comes on screen in episode 2. This guy is the best among his peers. Since 2017, he has added variety in his filmography and shown range in his acting. Among his peers he makes the most effort in changing his look for a role and also tries different things. And with the discipline he has shown with Bloodhounds S1+S2 over the course of just 3 years (a tough feat to achieve considering the amount of physical pre-work it requires not just to get in shape but to learn the action choreography and then do it in hundreds of takes before the director makes up his mind if they’ve got all or “the” take that’s needed). This guy is a beast. And I feel very proud of him that he’s getting to work with serious actors and with serious scripts and filmmakers. I would really like for him to just keep making intelligent project choices and not get roped into a typecast hole.

Anyway, this is gonna be good. Looking forward to it. I think this one will eat. 🤓

I have a list titled “In my eyes, can do no wrong”. There are few people on that list. From Korea it will be Park Min Young, IU, Kim TaeRi, Woo Do Hwan, Lee Byung Hun…and there is …

Ji Chang Wook. This guy can do no wrong in my eyes. Even if the script is shit, or the plot is dragging or the direction feels sloppy or the co-actors and screen partners feel half-assed, this guy is always giving his everything. He works so hard.

If I hugged my subordinates like this at premises like that even in off hours, I'd lose my reputation and my livelihood. But here...wow lol

Why can't she just move in with her mother for a few months before she builds some savings for a deposit for leasing. I mean, what is this girl?!!!

Dear Lord! what is this girl?

Not only is she fantasizing about her boss and having hot flashes on the job. She is telling her mom proudly how she has the hots for him and getting all teary eyed cos of yearning.

While the mother gushes at her daughter's idiocy in an encouraging way. Geeez!

Growing up around lawyers, I always heard this repeated over and over and over again "Loose tongues lose cases" (a legal spin on loose tongues sink ships).

However, in this show, this insufferable big baby of a grown-ass qualifed bar associated lawyer girl keeps getting drunk and baby talking, or just aegyoing and babbling randomly. Talking at the top of her lungs about cases and clients in corridors and public spaces.

And when she ain't doing that, she's tripping, falling, stumbling, trembling all over the ML. pouting and bobbing her head so her pony swings sideways like a pendulum for the ingenue visual.

I just can't stand infantalized women in Korean culture. I swear to the God who holds my life, it’s so unnerving and unsettling.

Jesus!
