I have a thought experiment question/observation: Secretarial romances are very common in corporate sector, even to this day, in the post me-too world. And a lot of times, such women are deemed as social-climbers, and gold diggers for sleeping around with their bosses or company executives. And even in many cases, they end up becoming home-wreckers to a perfectly happy home with an unsuspecting wife. It’s not an unheard of phenomenon.

Is she the proverbial social climber, the gold digger? Cos falling in a one-sided love is understandable but pursuing it and then moping and sulking after a rejection is like a strategy.
