Isn’t it effing strange that she had finalised a replacement director doctor for her clinic without seeing his resume or profile. In South Korea picture / photograph on the resume is an absolute must. She was gonna leave her aesthetic clinic in the hands of someone just on referral and no profile review on her own ??
That’s a really harsh take for someone who’s clearly connecting with a lot of viewers. You might not like…
Critical acclaim helps with longevity of an artist’s career. That is an empirical fact. Christian Bale is not Christian Bale because of the Batman movies. He’s who he is because of American Psycho, The Machinist, The Prestige, The Fighter, American Hustle, The Big Short, Vice, Hostiles, etc. Professional actors book serious jobs with serious directors based on not just commercial appeal but critical acclaim as well. Maybe the world only knows Robert Downey only as Iron Man, but he has a plethora of critically acclaimed projects. Same with Leo. Lee Byun Hun, Song Kang Ho have achieved longevity by balancing commercial and art both. The industry is cutthroat. As soon as the next new shiny young oppa shows up, the commercial jobs will dry up.

It’s not harsh. It’s based on years of watching his projects. I stated this earlier and I will say this again, the evidence is in his filmography.
You go through his filmography starting today. You will see what I’m talking about. Without it, you won’t understand. I’m not in the business of making people agree with me. But it’s no wonder that even after 11 years of acting debut, there is not one complex, artistic role on his resume of critical acclaim.
Commercial projects require talent who can move product, have insta followers, aren’t controversial, can look good to keep eyeballs satisfied and give enough performance that passes the mannequin test.
Casting directors know he has his limit. And that’s why, you will never see him in a project of critical acclaim. And maybe that’s alright for earning a living and keeping oppa lovers satiated. (shrugs).
I think that's pretty damn harsh. I question if we are even watching the same actor. The emotions definitely reach…
The evidence is in the filmography. His own and his peers/juniors. 11 years since acting debut and not one critical, complex, artistic performance on the resume? Casting directors know who to cast in what projects. It’s not a matter of me being judgemental or condescending.
When casting directors are talking about hiring for a commercial project the literal conversation post audition review is “insta followers? can he/she move product? Any skeletons in the closet we should be worried about? All good? Okay let’s proceed with chemistry reading.”
Critical art project casting is very director driven. Such directors usually work with the same cast and crew over and over. Park Chan Wook, Kim Jee Won, Hong Sang So, Wang Kar Wai, Scorsese, Nolan, PT Anderson, just to name a few.
You did mention people are entitled to their opinion. And also eluded to me considering myself to be extremely discerning. Well maybe it’s coming from some industry/work experience. Maybe I’m not coming from a place of oppa worship.
PS: Opinions are opinions. Not facts. And that’s what the conversation should be. If someone is going to launch a personal attack at another for just having an opinion. Well I am happy to oblige 😊. Grammar, punctuation and lexical pedantry and all.
It does not matter if you wear non-designer and I show up decked to the nines. Share opinions, talk about art, technical details, learn from each other, or maybe not. But no need to attack anyone, especially with bad grammar and unsophisticated language. Not everyone is gonna let it slide. 😒
Why didn’t he mention to her for the pre-nup contract that if she remarried after the divorce, she’ll have to relinquish the titles and privileges that come with it?
I mean, he can dangle that one. It won’t be unheard of.
Jesus Christ u're a silly HATER!!! Pull up in the Sri Lanka and go HEAL!!!
I can tell English isn’t your first language. Which is okay. Knowing it neither makes you clever or thick. But pretending like you are right about something when you clearly aren’t is rather…foolish. (Shrugs)

Have you ever written “They is nothing (contraction ain’t interchanged) wrong” instead of “There is nothing (contraction ain’t interchanged) wrong” in a sentence ? 😂
Hope not. How embarrassing would that be. It’s good to be pedantic in this day and age. It’s better than Chat GPTing for online rap battles. 😂
There has been no growth, whatsoever. For someone who made their acting debut 11 years ago, you see growth, range expand. I kid you not, you go through his filmography starting today, over a week. You will see what I’m talking about. His juniors (in terms of acting debut, not age) and peers have outgrown him. And even if you see his age peer group, you see them trying different things, showing a new side, unlocking a different acting expression. You just have to watch through his filmography. Without it, you won’t understand. Project after project, you only see production elements and quality change (wardrobe, big or low budget, film treatment, cast etc) but his acting is the same. Lee Jae Wook (currently serving military obligation) is way younger than him, also started with modelling but you see so much growth in him as an actor. He’s getting stronger and more sure as an actor. And I’m not a big, huge fan of Lee Jae Wook, but I truly mean it.
No, I don’t hate him. He’s actually a really nice guy. Very respectful to people around him. Even on flights he will let people take pictures although the handlers around him say, please stop. Why would I hate him? But he just can’t act. (Shrugs).
BWS can’t act. He just can’t. He is digestible in puff pieces. You will never see him in critical, artistic, complex projects.
All that he’s got in his acting arsenal is a pout, a furrowed brow, a side smile, eye squints, clenched teeth but the expressions don’t reach the eyes. That’s basically it. And you see this recycled project after project after project. A dud. A blank cartridge. A coat hanger.
The directors make up for the rest with beauty shots, filters and color treatment.
It was alright.

“They ain’t” isn’t English.
😂🤡

You get nothing.
