@Kimchidramalover Can we just be respectful of other people's opinions. Some people will like it. And some people won't. Some people will see the rational of the choices the characters in this drama make , some people won't. I love the drama for its incredible acting and casting. But the plot post episode 5 just tanked. Also, certain actions of the male lead seem abominable because we are given no explanation for them. For example, when he upped and left the FML at the doorstep of her biological mother, a girl whose life is dictated by a sense of abandonment. And then he doesn't apologise, nor does he explain why he did that. It left me confused. Who would do that to someone they loved? Perhaps, someone with a lot of issues.

this is EXACTLY what I said to my watch-party friends, post watch. Like ditto! I said "He a red flag. How can one feel any butterflies for two people who keep hurting each other. The relationship has been toxic because both people are operating within it with their trauma and baggage and the effects of rootlessness and abandonment. Adding to that is their recent diagnoses".

And that too, without even watching it lol. I mean, one can get disappointed post-watch. That's their opinion and they are entitled to it. And it will be an "an informed, post-experience" opinion. But don't dump on something you haven't even watched. And based on what? the poster? lol A little childish, I think. I might like it or I might not. But I will park my comments/opinions till after I have watched the show.

Let's hope its intelligent, at least. Cos honestly, WDH is such a great actor and I have been rooting for him since I watched My Country. And since this is his only project in 2024 (I think), I want it to be a good one. They guy can act and he deserves better scripts/roles.
Looking fwd to this one - however, please don't give me a "misdiagnosis" or the "love cures "brain tumours" trope. Let it be a black comedy. Let's not stretch our imagination into a senseless realm. We already only have 10 episodes. Let's just not be a mindless romcom.
