I dropped Shanai Marriage Honey last night for the same reason. Too sweet.
Same here. I thought at first that it was cute but then 5min into the 2nd episode the cute become unbearable, it was sickeningly sweet so I dropped it. I finished it for a challenge recently, felt literally sick overdosing on sugar so as a palate cleanser I watched a bloody serial killer crime thriller and I felt much better.😅😅😅
many Netflix dramas are great, so I don't get it... I guess you didn't watch a lot of them, let alone recently...
As I said, I am very happy you like them.🥰🥰 I tried watching a few and ended up dropping them. Technically they were well made but the plotlines failed to retain my attention. Therefore nowdays, I am not really excited when I see NF produced drama because they disappointed me in the past both with their format and the stories. They sounded interesting and then turned out to be duds. But that is me.😅
I am happy you like them.🥰 You are more open minded then me and that is admirable! You know, my glass is always half empty ( I am a huge pessimist😅😅).
The problem, in my mind, are seasons. K dramas very rarely, practically never, have multiple seasons...Frankly, I am wary of NF ever since I watched and loved Hospital Playlist and then it ended on a cliffhanger after 12 ep...I was so disappointed, that now every time iI see NF, I check whether there is a second season. There may be good dramas among the lot they produce, but something about NF Kdramas feels off....and very often, comments confirm this bad feeling! But this is just me!
Awww... Thank you! I've not really quit Thai BL. It was my sardonic humour at its most mordant. (I have slightly…
Sorry to intrude on this conversation, but what did you really think of Rak Diao? No review from you! Have you finished it yet? Come on give us something please! I am in a desperate need of a good laugh and I have already read ALL your reviews a few times......😅😅😅
Bad shows most of them! Apparently the only good original Netflix drama is Kingdom (but I don't watch horror so I can't tell!)! The rest is mostly meh : shorter dramas, open endings announcing another season etc.... not my idea of a K drama!
There is a piano version of a western song that is played often as a part of background score. I know it, but I cannot remember, for the life of me, what is it called. It was sung by a female singer with a rather deep voice....It is driving me mad not knowing, so much so I fail to focus on the plot! Does anyone know the name of the song? It was very popular in the 90's!
I finished watching this and it was sweet and cute.
But when I went to actors' profiles to find out more about them, imagine my surprise at what I discovered. And then I started reading the comments and that shocked me even more. Are you people human? Wishing the actor and everyone around him/supporting him, to die?!?!? How can you be so flippant about death? Very often in different drama comments, I come upon users wishing others to die because they disagree with them? And you call yourselves human? Really?!?!?
Dropping this: the main actress from the drama is not in this film and the new actress is not as charming and dignified as the original one. Why didn't they use the actress from the drama?
I could not stop thinking about He's Coming To Me while watching episodes 3&4 because the cemetery where they meet looks the same (I am not sure it is!) so I thought this was going to be a ghost story. Well, it was almost....
Did you actually check the accuracy of maths on blackboard?!?🤣🤣 I am playing this when I watch my next japanese bl....This is just perfect! Thank you....
Good news: he is finally coming back with a film this October! I do wish it was a drama (more hours and I prefer…
I never thought of looking at his wiki page instead of bothering you! How silly of me! Thank you for all this information! I have never heard of him before Home Drama last week and when I checked his bio I was surprised to see so few items in his filmography (fiction).
Home Drama has been giving me many contrary emotions I haven't felt in a long time about a drama: incredulity, compassion, rage, suspicion, happiness, understanding....An amazing drama, indeed! Thank you for recommending it!

But do you know why he quit acting for such a long time? To focus on music, maybe?
EDIT: One more thing, please! I am at episode 7 of Home Drama and the world around them does not approve of them. I cannot stand the stress and I am feeling enraged and want to drop this. So can you spoil the ending for me please and just tell me if they all stay together! The drama featuring a society which rejects everything and everyone who do not fit the pre-existing moulds is a drama not worthy of my time... Japanese dramas usually manage to get over such rejection making it a learning experience but I am not feeling it here somehow! I hope I am wrong!
So I liked the review you posted earlier, so I decided to check out your other reviews and, lo and behold, you liked this one as much as I did. We are probably the only ones around here to have actually liked this hot toxic mess of a drama...🤣🤣🤣Frank can't act to save his life but it was Long who carried the show on his own anyway! Great review. Again! I love the ranty style of your writing! It is funny and accurate! Keep them coming!🥰🥰🥰
I used to like his works (Mon & Oak period) but ever since he kicked them on the side for being too old,his works look weird. All his actors seem to be underage teens that he seems to abandon when they hit 20!
But this is just me!
