I saw everything he directed and I enjoyed it. It was far from perfect but it was different from the most of thai bl dross out there. Keep up the good work! And don't cast Un again, please!!
Can someone please explain to me how an actor who is completely talent free (can't act!), manages to land a string of main lead roles? He can do comic relief support roles and that's it. More than that and you end up with low rated dramas!
This must be one of those thai bl industry mysteries!!!๐๐
I give it to the director: very smart and well written. Arguably the best there is today: simple but hugely efficient ideas. I watched this after River, which I loved but unfortunately, the charm of the 2min idea wears off quickly.๐ค Too much of a good thing.....๐
But did they really film the whole thing with an i-phone?!?!? (BTS final credits!)
There is no excuse for the lack of creativity and this little gem proves it again: you don't need huge budgets just good ideas and talent!
I read the webtoon but I did not particularly like it: especially the height difference of the second couple but also JinWoo's lack of confidence since he seemed to be in love with the idea of loving KiBum but when the push went to shove and he was asked to act on it, he got scared. Let's see how they dealt with both these issues in the drama! Is it better or worse? I wonder....
Actually behind all the humour, this is really sad and tragic yet hopeful: it talks about missed opportunities, lack of courage, misunderstandings and regrets....and new beginnings! The high speed bickering between the two leads was exhilarating and the chemistry was sparkling! And even though the topic of the drama: "in japanese society marriage is the be all and end all for every woman" they made and effort to show the positive side of the opposite!
Don't you just love those Russian extras plating Americans in thai series?๐ Dropped after 20min: Fueang is too heavy handed(following him, getting too close with obviously uncomfortable Krom) and it is neither cute nor seductive just creepy!
It is so infuriating when they don't even pretend to look at the road while "driving" a car....mind you, the highway is completely empty! This looks like it's going to be a string of drama clichรฉs: irresponsible drunk and poor parents, poor boy working many jobs to make up for the useless father, rich girl has hots for poor boy(who is a poker whiz!), rich boy loves rich girl so he takes his deception out on the poor boy (that rich boy's smug face in ep 2: come one drama gods, give us a writer with an original idea)....Now I am waiting for the moment when the rich boy is going to blackmail the rich girl into dating him by threatening to ruin the poor boy completely! Nice touch in ep 3: asking permission to kiss. But the girl is so clingy and is getting to be more and more annoying. So I was wrong about the rich boy blackmailing him, he actually got him arrested because he is a poker rival and not because of the girl. This was a cute short drama and an additional proof that Suho should stick to singing: his acting skills are invisible, he talks in a monotone voice and has a single expression face, cute and handsome it may be but it is set in stone...
Well if you dropped after 15 mins, then considering 1st episode had 23 mins, you only missed 8 minutes, lol. And…
I agree with you about the inner monologue but I guess a J-drama wouldn't be a J-drama without it. As for 15min watch: I usually try to watch at least one episode and since I dropped this halfway through it must have been really unbearable to watch (here the cringe factor was at the highest lever for me!). To each their own!

And the drama is not that bad. It is neither fluffy nor 18+ and it actually has a half decent plot....
I just have one question: what was Thana's first wish? I rewatched the beginning of the ep 4 but I could not figure it out!
And those haircuts?!?!?
Dropped
FX is apparently renewing this for two more seasons. Milking the cow dry, guys?
