I don't understand why they came out with this now when GMS is literally 30 years old. If it was because they…
Right? Either it was so serious it was a crime, then it should be dealt with by proper channels, police, or leave it. Even if she bullied someone as teenager, does it mean she can never work again?
don’t think she liked him romantically. The flashback made it seem like a normal sister-in-law and brother-in-law…
I keep thinking of how she called her son of being of that weak bloodline or something like that. With every new episode, it just feels like she thinks she could have had better in that family. Not sold on this, but it lingers.
This isn't a typical romcom. I mean, in a way when the wedding is the end goal. Here, it's more about survival.…
Really? Cause when she met Charles, she was so happy about meeting her dream prince she basically lied to him about everything she liked and disliked to get him to like her, to pretend to have so much in common, when there was nothing. Shortly before her marriage, she already found out about the fact he was not over Camilla, went to her sister and asked what to do. She told Diana to cancel it as long as she was ready for the aftermath, their faces being on plates together and all. Diana chickened out and married him. Somehow expecting a marriage to a person in love with another, who thought her to be very different person would turn out well? Eeh. Then they both cheated and she wanted to turn Charles into the bad guy in front of everyone and expected the Queen's support.
Come on, the woman spent her life to protect the monarchy and the guy was not just the future king, but her SON! I'm no fan of Charles, but he legally needed his mother's approval to marry, she forbade him Camilla for her reputation and then told him to marry Diana or break up with her before her reputation is ruined as well. He was devastated by his uncle's death, when he met a girl who comforted him and lied to him to appear as his dream girl. To him, she must have looked like his best option.
After the break up, she cleverly managed to manipulate the public opinion, I give her that, but before then, she wasn't the sharpest pencil. If she was, this could have been nice platonic friendship or it would have ended on their first date.
She was overrated. But I get she did the one thing well and is too popular, I can feel the hate coming writing this already. Just thumb-down me or something, no need to bother.
Is he? Is he really? Because since he found out the truth, he keeps trying to show the prince who is the one closer…
Whether the marriage is real or contractual, it is a marriage. He has the right to tell a guy to mind the fact the woman is his wife. His bragging might be little over the necessary level, but I wouldn't call that very disrespectful. And whatever happens between them, is between them. Whether they remain strictly contractual, become besties, use it to burn calories or fall in love... that's their business, he has no say in this. A real friend wouldn't try to meddle.
Like it or not, they're not equal in this. The prince has a legal document proving this.
i think the "expressionlessness" is due to the nature of the character....he is doing a job he doesn't…
I meant Cha Eun Woo. Didn't hear this about the female lead. They called him bad idol actor, can't act, showing the same face all the time, no emotion. But it was exactly on point with his character. Being the constant face of his father's never ending political campaign, everyone acting around him the way they did. It made him numb. He showed he can do the opposite by playing the prince with the heart on his sleeve, who could hide no emotion.
Is it just me? With every episode, I'm more and more inclined to believe the Queen Mother actually liked her brother-in-law. But since he was not going to be the king and her family, she went with the crown prince, but always found him inferior to his brother.
You will never see me rooting for SMLs ever. They are always annoying with the I liked you in secret for years…
I can think of only one drama, where I liked the 2nd lead more and that was Heirs. And he was nothing like the others, otherwise it's not like not liking them more. I usually completely detest them. Well, I didn't exactly hate the one from My Secret Hotel, I just enjoyed the pairings how they ended up more.

My ID is a Gangnam Beauty got the same hate, except they blamed it on a bad actor, but not every role requires the person to act like in a silent film, overexpressing everything with face like that was the only means to act.
It's so deep!!! But straight to the point: why does Heeju's character cling so stubbornly to class distinctions?Even…
But I think there is more to her origin. The way she told her father "Branding me illegitimate..." - I think she was not illegitimate at all from that scene. That would explain why despite being so brazen this is such a sore spot for her.
Just finished POJ and can't move on! Any suggestions for new drama to help with my withdrawal symptoms?
I started watching Generation to Generation around the same time, but basically paused it, when POJ started occupy all my time. Bit different genre, but it has some intense moments.
Though not the ending we were hoping for, but still hundreds of millions of people watched it.. some hate it for…
I must say it was the drama most matching my expectations. Well, a lot of people died, more than I expected, but I guess that was a normal thing during war times and I just softened watching dramas that make one or two important sacrifices to make it emotional.
Do you really want to watch them. You could feel dissapointed even before starting. This is not a drama for battle…
Yeah, but the battles take place in complicated terrain, so there is never a huge field with 2 giant armies against each other. Like once the leads are in a mountain camp surrounded by the enemy and they want to break through. Since no one important is in the main force, you just see the small part guarding the camp gates and when the move to the battlefield, it is already half over, so everyone is scattered.
Wei Yan loved Consort Shu (bestfriend of his sister - ML's mother). However, she was claimed by the emperor as…
You know how in dramas even cousins, even friends, call each other brother. They were uncle and nephew, but of the same age, more or less. All the young nobles in this drama know each other, from their talk, they were educated together, spent a lot of time together before the rebellion and growing up. They might have called each other brother to enhance the fact that between all the boys, they are actually relatives. Or it could be just a desperate attempt to appeal to him. Brother sounds closer than nephew.
Wei Yan loved Consort Shu (bestfriend of his sister - ML's mother). However, she was claimed by the emperor as…
It is all in the drama. It just isn't as spelled out as usually in dramas. Like when Wei Xuan screams at his father he had to kill his cousin because he was investigating even for the price of harming his own uncle. It's just a passing remark and he is never confronted about it. We don't even know if Xie Zheng actually found out.

It is more focused on duels between generals.
