Title The Husband
That hasn't been explained. It's like that was a completely different drama!
For starters, the kidnapper is a full-on psycopath with hair trigger anger. He just murdered the shop owner where he was buying a knife.

Title The Husband
THE HUSBAND is so underrated. It's #1 K-drama—absolutely speechless! The cast is outstanding, but Namkoong Min…
I agree. For me, this drama is one of the standouts so far in 2026. Most dramas grow tiring midway through. Not the case with The Husband!

Title The Husband
If you've finished the first four episodes of The Husband, you've probably realized one thing: nothing in this…
I'm glad this has become one of July 2026's most talked about K-dramas. It earns it every week. Not the usual pablum that so many k-dramas serve up. Kim Dae Myung is nailing it. Namkoong Min is oozing with mysterious qualities. Lee Seol is showing amazing range - no makeup, wet, dirty PJ's as almost her only outfit through Ep. 6. She is very compelling. Written well - the plot has you fooled week after week.

I love that the men and women on this dating show have interesting and varied careers (that was true on S1 as well). So many Kdating shows feature mainly models, wanna be actors/actresses and dancers. It's refreshing to see a better cross section of the country represented. It's a very organic and "real" look at Korean moms as well and showcases what relationships between sons and their mothers and daughters and their mothers really look like. It's also very compelling to see mature contestants seriously looking for marriage. So many Korean dating shows feature men under 26 years of age and/or women in their very early 20's.

Why do they have a 29 and 32 year old playing the two male high school rivals? I get that they look young, but if the premise of the drama is high school, the casting seems off.....

I feel like this show concept would be more fun to watch with men in their 30s and women in their 40s instead…
I think a lot of men in their 30's are thinking about children so pairing up with women in their 40s might not be successful.

Comment section here is so scary. I see some commenting “STFU” to people who have slightly negative opinion.…
I very much agree with your opinion. The show was amazing at the start, lost its charm in the middle and never recovered. I think it could have been awesome from start to finish if it was a time travel drama where a Josean woman finds herself in modern Korea. Instead we got the soul swap/reincarnation muddle taking up most of the oxygen.

Ive prayed so hard for this one, but after episode 11, im so NOT into watching it anymore... The overdramatic…
So true. Very few have a 10 out of 10 beginning, middle and end. What are your favorite Kdrama's of all time?

I'm just the opposite. I'm way more interested in the modern tinmeline and its comedy! I guess this drama has something for all of us.

I would say that this is one of the sleeper hits of the season. On paper, the write-up didn't sound that appealing. And it didn't seem like the actors cast for ML and FL would have much chemistry. Not true! They're bringing the heat! The drama is quirkly, unexpected and enjoyable. It's outside the box in some surprising ways.

On Perfect Crown Apr 27, 2026
So far the Perfect Crown is delivering "perfectly!" The locations, cinematology, lighting, camera work are magnificent. The writing is catchy and entertaining and the ML and the FL are creating sparks and chemistry. It's the best rom com drama I've watched in 2026. I can see why it's doing so well in Korea and globally.

Wish they'd chosen a hostess who was less skeletal - she doesn't look at all like she enjoys bread. Watching her…
She looks extremely emaciated. It's almost painful to see someone so thin. She does seem like an odd choice for a show about bread, pastries & desserts. She seems better suited for a show about extreme weight loss...

On Match to Marry: With Parents Feb 3, 2026
This is a fun and unique dating show. The contestants have real jobs other than model or influencer. It's such a refreshing change from Singles Inferno. The scandal of one of the female contestants is such a shame. She lied on the application forms so it's on her and not the production team. In spite of this, I thing it has legs to run on for many seasons. The mothers' participation and all of the intertwining dynamics seems authentic and entertaining. I'm looking forward to season two!

man i really keep stopping myself from commenting about mina but she is ... so toxic like what's with the victim…
It's crazy that the guys aren't turned off by her insecurity, need for attention and insincerity. She goes after multiple men in front of everyone. It's surprising that they are not tuning her out.

You make an amazing point! Only because we were allowed to live can we be for or against anything.

Replay to y'all: those kind of parasocial relationships are unhealthy and problematic. All that "my oopa can't…
I agree with the ick. Based on their ages, she met him once (briefly) almost 20 years ago. They've never dated; never been friends; not adult acquaintances. But she lays in bed for days when she hears he's dating. Do fans think that celebrities who they have no adult relationship with really love them as girlfriends and wouldn't date? It is just so unreasonable and messed up to live life with those kind of delusions.

It's a misconception that all fangirl see their their idol as sexual object.Personally came to know 30-50 yrs…
I'll say it again. Idol fangirling crosses a creepy line when it becomes idol WORSHIP. They don't have a real relationship with the idol but live as if they do. It's one thing to appreciate them for their talent and to admire them for their music but it's another thing altogether to "kiss their cross." Are they a Lord, Are they a Savior?

I think the FL totally redeemed herself in Ep 2. In Ep 1 spending hours on end streaming his song from 15 years…
Don't you see the irony here? Idols are expected to be flawless and perfect. Their every move is put under a microscope. Their personal life is greatly restricted. You're pointing out that the FL's private life should be kept private. She should be allowed to have flaws. I agree with that. What about the idol? The FL isn't a crazy, toxic fan but I like that this drama is highlighting the toxic and dysfunctional culture that does occur between idols and fans. It does harm to the private lives of both parties - fans living a fantasy that they have a real relationship with the idol that gives them control and idols having to live their lives in the shadows. That's why I was happy with the FL in Ep 2. She's aware of these pitfalls.

After the ep2 it's starting to make more sense(?)...also I love how the FL locks in during her professional life,…
I think the FL totally redeemed herself in Ep 2. In Ep 1 spending hours on end streaming his song from 15 years ago seemed cringey. Rushing home from work daily to spend hours following him online seemed like too much of her life revolved around him for her own well-being. It was over the top. Her actions in Ep 2 reversed that. They are portraying her as fearless, tough, smart and rational. Both leads are doing a great job.
