Beautiful review!

The actress, um..., isn't the best. You certainly would need to be in a particular mood. It's a decent watch even for something as lighthearted as a Shoujo drama. It's for a day when you are mentally exhausted and couldn't care less. However, it is certainly not bad.

Yes. Hana something. It skips me... To be honest, it's not exactly good. I watched it because I was craving Japanese content but something that I don't need to pay attention to. That's why I quite enjoyed it. It's for days when you need background noise.

Inoue Yuki/ Komagine Kiita with Yuki Mio. All criminally underrated. Mahiro Takasugi and Ryoko Fujino is another pair I know would work. Gôki Maeda and Yui Okada is yet another. They had explosive chemistry in a drama that they did together, but their characters ended up with other people.
My dream cast would be:
Takahashi Fumiya as Seon Jae
Hiyori Sakurada as Im Sol
Inoue Yuki as Kim Taesong
Goki Maeda as Im Geum
Yuki Mio as Lee Hyun Ju

I know right! Both can do drama and comedy. Both are so good at the subtle, smaller beats. Both can pass for late 20s... And, Takahashi is tall enough. Also, he has played a surly idol before. Now, he can play a dorky one. 😁

Koukan Uso Nikki leads for a J-remake, I have loved them prior to this movie and both are amazing actors. I have many other pairs as well in mind. 😅

Yeah, I liked some of the remakes so much that the originals made me cringe and I didn't watch the latter. This is coming for someone who is usually a stickler for originals.

I know Park Soyi! However, is she really 5'1?!!! Goddamn. I thought she'd be around 4'5... I mean it's a child we are talking about. *Sigh* It has to be the water...

I mean I had always assumed him to be taller than the average Japanese male. But he's head to head with BWS. I assumed SK to be around 5'11. The people I had assumed were short turn out to be quite taller than average. Partridge is tall too! I didn't realise that MBB wore heels! 😅

So dang true! But the two I mentioned are pretty decent actors, especially the latter. There may be someone underrated, however, the chances of that person existing are next to none. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Most who are the rage currently cannot act to save their lives, yet you see their faces plastered on every damn drama poster there is.

This is true. BWS practically embodies the character. I think it's also because his real life personality seems closer to Sun Jae except for the romantically inept part. 😜 Like there can be no other Li Zhi Wei like Greg Hsu, there cannot be another Sun Jae.

Yeah. True. All the capable candidates I can think of would look too old as high school students. Ooh, maybe Blue from Ready, Set, Love... However, he would not be able to pass as 34 years old. Maybe, Tre from The Love Proposal? Honestly, I'd love a Japanese or Taiwanese remake... If either do it properly with the actors I have in mind, they'd knock it out of the park.
